Nigerian Relationship expert Solomon Buchi has criticised Big Brother Naija season nine’s first-ever married contestants, Kassia and Kellyrae, for participating in the reality TV show.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that ‘Double Kay’ is the first married couple to participate in the long-running reality show, and so far, they have kept their marital status a secret from their other housemates as part of their strategy.
However, In the trending video that sparked debate on social media, KellyRae was scolding his wife Kassia after a male housemate accused her of touching his nipple. KellyRae felt it was inappropriate for his wife to touch another man like that. Kassia, however, denied touching anyone’s nipple.
“How am I supposed to know? Be reasonable to me madam! You are a wife! You are a lady! Listen to me when I talk. Whether you touched the nipple or not, the guy said ‘Kassia you are touching my nipple’. That was what he said. Reverse the thing and a girl said you dey use that thing dey rub my breast’. Reverse it. Does that even make any sense.”
Reacting to the trending video, Buchi expressed displeasure after discovering that a married couple is participating in the current BBNaija reality TV show.
Criticizing the couple, the writer noted that people no longer have respect for marriage.
He wrote; “Wait, a married couple went on Big Brother Naija? You guys have no respect for marriage. There was a time that people believed one had sense just because they’re married. These days married people are scrambling to get on a reality show that thrives on romantic affairs and immorality.”
