The Federal Capital Territory, FCT epidemiologist, Dr Doris John has warned that mobile phones are the biggest agent of COVID-19.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports this development was observed by the FCT epidemiologist at a one-day FCT Media Sensitisation Management Training Agenda in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO).
Dr John explained at the on-going training that: “Our mobile phones are always with us but it could be the biggest agent of the virus because of its hard surface.
“People touch the rail of staircases that are equally hard surfaces which can retain the virus and same hand you use to carry your phone.
“If it’s possible we should avoid greetings such as hugging and shaking of hands or any body contact while greeting because your clothes harbour the virus,” the FCT epidemiologist said.
