174 stranded Nigerians return from Libya [Video]

Another batch of 174 stranded Nigerians in Libya has arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

They were received by officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) at about 1.00 a.m. on Friday.

Their return was aided by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the European Union (EU) under the Assisted Voluntary Return Programme.

Acting Zonal Coordinator of NEMA, South West Zonal Office, Segun Afolayan said the agency profiled the returnees that comprised 61 female adults, four female children and eight female infants.

Afolayan said the returnees also included 91 male adults, six male children and four male infants along with an unaccompanied male child.
