The Delta State Government has confirmed three new Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, with Sapele Local Government Area reporting cases of the virus for the first time.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports the State Government on Thursday confirmed two COVID-19 cases for Sapele LGA, while the other case was confirmed from Oshimili North LGA.

The development brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the State to 31. While 12 cases have been discharged after testing negative for the virus, 6 persons have died as a result of the virus in the State.
Meanwhile, there are currently 13 active cases with the virus in isolation centres of the State.
