[Photos] Buhari’s recovery is important to Africa – Ouattara

President Alassane Ouattara of Cote D’Ivoire has said President Muhammadu Buhari’s recovery from illness is important to West Africa and the entire African continent.

Ouattara disclosed this on Monday when he visited President Buhari at the Aso Villa.

Both leaders later met behind closed doors at the villa.

TheNewsGuru.com reports that Ouattara, who arrived the Presidential Villa at about 12.15 p.m., was introduced to some cabinet ministers and presidential aides by President Buhari before the commencement of their meeting.

The two presidents are meeting officially for the first time since the inauguration of President Buhari’s administration on May 29, 2017.

Ouattara had on April 20, 2015, met with Buhari, then, as President-elect, shortly after a meeting with former President Goodluck Jonathan.

TheNewsGuru.com reports that President Muhammadu Buhari returned back to the country on Saturday, August 19, after spending 103 days in the United Kingdom treating an undisclosed ailment.
