Over 30 heavily armed fierce looking mobile policemen have just stormed my residence in Maitama, Abuja, embattled Senator Dino Melaye has revealed.
The Kogi West Senator made this known on his Twitter handle while also saying all roads leading to his house has been cordoned off.
“Over 30 heavily armed fierce looking mobile policemen have just stormed My residence in Maitama, Abuja.
“All roads leading to House has been cordoned off, as heavy mobile policemen blocked entry & exit of the road. They currently laid siege on in and around The house,” he said.

TheNewsGuru reports Senator Melaye was this morning arrested and later released by the Police at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja, with the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) saying the Senator’s arrest was “based on instruction”.
