#Lagosapcprimaries Updates: Ambode, Sanwo-Olu battle for Lagos APC Governorship Ticket

The battle over who becomes the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019 Lagos governorship race Lagos state has finally been kicked-off in Lagos.
The two major aspirants are the incumbent Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
While Ambode is fighting a tough battle to remain in office on the agenda of ‘continuity’ for another four years, Sanwo-Olu who has been said to enjoy the backing of Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the party is promising Lagosians ‘Inclusive government’.

#LagosAPCPrimaries: Sanwo-Olu defeats Ambode in Alausa
Sanwo-Olu, defeated incumbent governor, Akinwunmi Ambode at ward c, Alausa, Ikeja, on Tuesday.
The results was announced by the electoral officer in charge of the ward, Olanrewaju Yahaya, that Sanwo-Olu polled 960 votes ahead of the governor who secured just four votes.

There was a massive reception for Sanwo-Olu as he turned up at his ward, ward E3 Lagos Island to caste his vote in the Lagos APC Primaries.

Lagos APC primary: Tight security at Agbado Oke-Odo
Security operatives have been positioned at the Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Authority of Lagos State as party members turned out to vote for the APC governorship candidate.
The APC members trooped into the secretariat at Ekoro Road, as early as 7:00 a.m. to participate in the direct primary election adopted by the party in the state.
