Recall that a recent report in the media had alleged that Alison-Madueke released $1.3billion from the NNPC account to the office of Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) to fight kidnapping, crude oil theft and petroleum pipeline vandalism.
The report stated further that the withdrawal was neither authorised by the National Assembly nor the Federal Executive Council (FEC), adding that there are sufficient clues of suspected money laundering.
