Sen Omo-Agege donates relief materials to flood victims in Ughelli South

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has donated relief materials, including food items, to flood victims who now reside in temporary shelters at Otu-Jeremi Primary School and Ewu Village in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Presenting the materials as a palliative measure to the people affected by the floods, Delta State APC Treasurer, Comrade Chuks Erhire noted that “The gesture is a testimony to Senator Omo-Agege’s kind nature and readiness to always support his people. Our Senator is always passionate about giving positive representation to our people. This is to complement efforts of the Delta State Emergency Management Agency which has the statutory made of ensuring that persons affected by the floods are properly taken care of.”
Comrade Erhire further explained that Senator Omo-Agege was aware of the pains and hardship the people are passing through as the flood took over buildings and farms belonging to them, adding that more support would come as the senator would personally visit them very soon.
Taking delivery of the relief materials, the Otu-Jeremi’s camp coordinator, Mrs Mercy Amrebure expressed gratitude to God for using the senator to ameliorate the suffering of the people and lift the burden of lack and want placed them. According to her, “We are overwhelmed by this gesture and we thank the senator for remembering us and finding time to send his to us.”
Similarly, the Ewu Community Camp for the displaced persons, was thrown into a state of joy when they received their relief materials from Senator Omo-Agege’s team led by Comrade Erhire. Taking delivery of the items, the president general of the community expressed joy for the magnanimity of Senator Omo-Agege and prayed that God should protect and bless him.
