A regional Non-governmental Organization (NGO) with no affiliations to any political parties, ethnicity and religion known as Shalom Vineyard Initiative has mapped out plans to empower and invest in human capacity development, boosting of citizens morale and empowerment of teeming youth population in the West Africa sub-region.
Shalom Vineyard Initiative modus operandi also includes leadership and self-development programmes which encourage economic, self -reliance, productivity and patriotisms.
Shalom Vineyard Initiative is a non-governmental organization, non- political, non- ethnical and non- religious organization. It is a human capacity development organization that helps to build the morale of citizens and create empowerment programme to advance the livelihood of the ever teeming youths in the society.
The NGO has formed a formidable partnership with FUPRE energy solutions Nigeria Limited under the office of the Vice- Chancellor Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun in Uvwie LGA of Delta State.
SVI was registered in 1997 with Corporate Affairs Commission, and was later incorporated in 2007 under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 1, 1990 Pact C.
SVI also organizes workshops, seminars and symposiums for students across institutions in the West Africa region. However,the organization has partnered with Silverbird Galleria where we held a drug awareness programme titled: “Youth And Passion” which educates, enlightened and informed students on the danger inherent in drug abuse with different schools.
The organization further took a lead to create awareness with students on leadership career in conjunction with the Nigeria Navy and Nigerian Institute of Oceanography to enlighten students on the activities of the Nigerian Navy in securing Nigeria water ways.
In order to fulfil and perfectly execute its ongoing and already designed project the organization is currently seeking for N100 Million Naira endowment trust fund from corporate bodies and International organization to build the civic center and end restiveness in the area as we embark on this project.
According to a proposal released by the establishment, SVI looks to step into the warring community in Ekpan in Delta State where youths fights themselves, result in killings, destructions of homes, parents of youths forced to live in exile as some rendered homeless.
