A video footage has revealed how President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) alongside other top Nigerian politicians turned a blind eye to COVID-19 protocols at the wedding of PMB’s son to Zahra Nasir Bayero, the daughter of Emir of Bichi on Friday.
A video released by Bashir Ahmad, Personal Assistant to the Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari on Digital and New Media, showed a huge crowd scrambling to catch a glimpse of Buhari as he leaves the venue of the event after the wedding.
In the video, while some of the participants wore face masks it was also apparent that majority of them paid little or no regard for physical distancing and other safety protocols as the crowd surge on at the palace of the Emir of Bichi.
