Detained ex-presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has said that Nigeria is a lawless country, just as he was being taken into remand ordered by the court on Monday.

Sowore was arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja alongside Olawale Bakare on seven counts of treasonable felony and other sundry offences instituted against them by the Federal Government.

Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu ordered that the duo be remanded in the custody of the Department of State Services till Friday when the application for their bail would be heard.

Addressing the press, as he was being led out of the courtroom, Sowore said, “This is a lawless country and that is why Nigeria must fight for its soul. And ensure that the revolution gives our people a chance…”

At this point, the DSS operatives started dragging him out of the courtroom.
