Ahead of the inauguration of the 10th Assembly the House of Representatives has begun the process of choosing the Speaker of the 10th House.
The process presided over by the Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly , Kamoru Ogunlamu alongside the Clerk of the House, Sani Danzaria.
The nominations for the position of speaker are Tajudeen Abbas, Ahmed Wase and Aminu Jaji.
The three nominees accepted the nominations and described the day as a day of history.
The DCNA now announced the commencement of voting after he declared the nomination closed.
The DCNA announced that the voting process shall be open. As names of members-elect were called, they will name their candidates of choices.
The voting commences with Abia state as member-elect stated the candidate of their choices openly.
