Ex-House of Representatives spokesperson, Hon Zakari Mohammed has formally resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Mohammed was spokesperson of the HoR in the Seventh House of Representatives from 2011-2015.

In a resignation letter dated 10th of April, 2025 and addressed to the Ward Chairman of Gwure/Gwasoro Ward, Baruten LGA of Kwara state.
In the letter he simply stated that he is quitting the party to advance his political career in another platform.

He represented Baruten/Kaiama Federal Constituency between 2011-2019.
Mohammed was also chairman HoR committee on Basic Education in the 8th HoR.
