Member of the 8th National Assembly and Senator representing Kogi West, Senator Dino Melaye, has said he is very qualified to run for the presidency of Nigeria.
Melaye said this in reaction to ‘Sen. Dino Melaye for President 2019’ campaign posters presently in circulation; while he also stressed that he is not ready to be Nigeria’s president.
The Senator described the circulation of his supposed campaign posters as acts by his enemies and those who want to create disaffection between him and the presidency.
“It is ridiculous that enemies have gone senile: printing Dino Melaye for President posters and pasting around to create disaffection from the presidency,” he said.
The Kogi politician has also published a disclaimer to further say the campaign posters in circulation are not authorized by him.

“Dino is not a coward. While I’m very qualified to run for the presidency of Nigeria, I’m not ready,” he said.
