Actual voting in the Rivers legislative rerun election has been concluded, giving way for collation of results.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, confirmed the wrap up of voting via a Facebook post.

The post stated that the collation has commenced.
The commission urged residents of the State to corporate with it in the discharge of its responsibility.

The election has been keenly contested between the All Progressives Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Series of violence have reported at various parts of the State.
