The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has come out to distance itself from statement flying around that it has suspended Senator Dino Melaye.
This was made available via a statement signed by the State Secretary of the Party, Farouk Yahaya, he said the party never contemplate suspending the former lawmaker.

Yahaya, in the statement, warned trouble and mischief makers who are bent on causing a crisis in the PDP to desist, pointing out that the party remains focused going into the primary election.
He urged members of the Party and the general public to discountenance the misleading information pointing out that it is fake news.
