Read: 2 Corinthians 4:7-18
Meditation verse:
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me, you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
A man once wanted to keep his little son occupied while he worked in his study. He handed the boy a puzzle of a world map, thinking it would take hours to assemble. But within minutes, the boy returned with the map perfectly fixed.
Amazed, the father asked how he had done it so quickly. The boy replied, “Dad, there was a picture of a man on the back of the map. I figured that if I put the man together in the centre, the world would fall into place in front.”
What a powerful lesson! Life often feels like a puzzle with scattered pieces— family, career, health, finances, and relationships. But when Jesus, the Son of God, is at the centre of our lives, everything else falls into place. Minister Eben captured this truth in his song: “At the centre of it all, it’s You that I see… There is power in Your name. Miracles happen in Your name.”
Jesus Himself promised that life on earth will bring trials, but He also assured us that He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). He is bigger than the biggest, stronger than the strongest, and greater than the greatest.
When you fix your eyes on Him instead of the storms, you will experience His peace and victory. The most important decision you can ever make is to invite Jesus Christ to be at the centre of your life. Have you asked Him into your heart?
Here’s a prayer you can pray today:
Prayer of Salvation:
“Dear Lord, I am a sinner in need of Your grace. Thank You, Jesus, for dying to set me free from sin. Please forgive me for all my sins and come into my heart. Be my Lord and Saviour. Fill me with Your Spirit and enable me to live for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
As you step into a new month, keep Jesus at the centre of your life. No matter the trials around you, keep your focus above it all and you will live in the victory He already won for you.
