Dr Ogabor Joseph Odey, a University of Calabar lecturer and fifa badged referee of the Cross River State Council, led three other international referees for a world cup qualifier in Morocco in the game between Gambia and Seychelles, and they all and got very high marks.
Ogabor was assisted on the lines by a seasoned elite assistant referee from the Adamawa Council, Samuel Pwadutakam as well as the Assistant Referee 2, Lagos based Hope Ogenekewe Igho .
Abdulahi Abubakar of Niger State Council was the fourth Official. The Nigeria Quartet was be assessed by Togolese Koniyo Kori while Saquece Prinei Kai of Sierra Leone was the Match Commissioner.
Reports show that the Nigerian officials gave a very good account of themselves as they were in control of the match from start to finish without making any questionable calls.
