‘Christian Pulisic too good for Chelsea team’

American soccer hero Alexi Lalas insists Christian Pulisic is too good for this Chelsea team.

In total, Pulisic has scored 13 goals and ten assists in 47 competitive matches since joining Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund 18 months.

And Lalas insists the USA international’s inconsistency has nothing to do with his ability.

“I’m saying it now. Christian Pulisic is too good for Chelsea. His talent is wasted in this Chelsea team,” Lalas told the State of the Union Podcast.

“In the loss against Manchester City last week, he was fantastic. He was the only player in Chelsea who tried.

“He needs better players around him.”
