Gov. Kayode Fayemi had given the state-owned club side an approval for the immediate return to the Nigeria National League after many years in the wilderness.

Owoseni said that the move was part of the present administration’s efforts to restore the lost values of the state football club.

He said that the governor had promised the club all the needed logistics and support to excel, urging the management and players to give their best to make the state proud.

The permanent secretary said the club would commence its pre-season activities soon in readiness for the season.
