Riccardo Calafiori is set to join the Arsenal squad once the details of his transfer from Bologna are finalized.
According to The Athletic, the two clubs have exchanged documents for the defender’s transfer.
Calafiori will undergo medicals with the Gunners ahead of the summer move, which is expected to be a package worth around €50m (£42.1m).
The defender has also agreed personal terms with the clubside.
Meanwhile, It is reported that another Premier League team, as well as Juventus and Real Madrid, attempted to sign Calafiori in the last 10 days.
However, the Italy international has expressed his commitment to Arsenal and has given his word to join the club.
