EPL: Liverpool lose top spot to Arsenal, draw goalless with Manchester United at Anfield

Liverpool Football  club on Sunday evening played an entertaining 0-0 draw against Manchester United  at Anfield.

All efforts by the home side to score a goal proved abortive in the game as  Manchester United Cameroonian goalie, Andre Onana made crucial saves to ensure United leave Anfield with a point.

Liverpool’s offensive play gave them 12 corner kicks but united defense stood solid all through the encounter.

United had few chances in the game with one falling to Granacho but the defensive abilities of Trent Alexander Arnold came into play as he marked out the Argentine before disposesing him of the ball.

Dalot was sent off for throwing a hand towards the referee, complaining over a decision to award a throw-in to Liverpool, and he picks up his second yellow!

The draw sees Jurgen Klopp’s side drop to second, while United move into seventh place on the English  Premier League table.
