EPL: Manchester City playmaker, De Bruyne set to depart for Saudi Pro League

Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has reportedly agreed on personal terms with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad. De Bruyne, whose contract with the Premier League champions runs until June 2025, has spent nearly a decade at the club.

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Al-Ittihad has reached an agreement with the Belgian star regarding a potential move. Negotiations are reportedly ongoing between the two clubs to finalize the transfer.

If the deal goes through, De Bruyne would join a squad that includes Karim Benzema, Fabinho, and N’Golo Kante.

In a recent interview, De Bruyne, 33, acknowledged that “at my age, you have to be open to everything. You’re talking about incredible amounts of money in what may be the end of my career. Sometimes you have to think about that.”

De Bruyne joined Manchester City from Wolfsburg for £55 million in 2015.
