EPL: Tottenham hit by more heartbreak

Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt another setback as Dejan Kulusevski’s knee injury will sideline him until next year.

The Swedish international suffered a knee injury last season, and the latest update adds to the challenges facing Thomas Frank’s side, reports The Guardian.

Spurs will also be without James Maddison until early next year and missed out on two key summer signings, Eze and Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest.

Tottenham travel to the Etihad on Saturday at midday for a clash many teams would fear, but not Thomas Frank’s side.

Across all competitions, Pep Guardiola has lost nine times to Spurs in his managerial career, with only Liverpool (10) handing him more defeats.
