The Federation of Cameroon Football (FECAFOOT) is wooing Super Eagles former coach, Jose Peseiro over the vacant Indomitable Lions coaching job.
It would be recalled that erstwhile handler of the Indomitable Lions, Rigobert Song was relieved of his duties few weeks ago following the team’s poor display at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The indomitable Lions of Cameroon got eliminated by Peseiro coached Super Eagles of Nigeria at the just concluded AFCON.
There are reports that FECAFOOT have opened discussion with the Portuguese over the vacant coaching job and could be offered the job any moment from now.
Peseiro and NFF couldn’t reach an agreement and the latter left his role as the Super Eagles gaffer shortly after returning from AFCON where he led the Nigerian side to a second place.
The 63-year-old Portuguese was in charge of Super Eagles for one year and 10 months.
