Hazard tips ex-teammate to become next Chelsea manager

Former Chelsea player Eden Hazard says former teammate Cesc Fabregas should be offered the manager’s job.

Cesc has just helped Como win promotion to Serie A as part of a co-coaching team.

With Chelsea seeking a new manager, Hazard told talkSPORT: “Maybe (Roberto de Zerbi). I have my friend also in Como. He can be the first manager.”

On the departure of Mauricio Pochettino, he continued: “I was a bit sad, to be fair. I think he did a great job. I know people want Chelsea to be in the top four but it’s just a season of transition.

“He’s a great manager. I wish him good luck. Let’s see who’s going to be there in the future.”
