Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was happy with France’s World Cup qualifying victory over Kazakhstan.
Pogba was particularly pleased for Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele after his goal in the 2-0 win.
He said, “The result is positive. We had to do the job and we did it. Against a team that has not let go. Frankly everyone would have thought they were going to let us score 5 goals, but they played well.
“We managed to score two goals, and their goalkeeper had a great game afterwards. We are happy.
“Synthetic? It is special. But I feel good, I came back from injury. I still played 60 minutes. We are happy.
“Dembélé? It’s very good for him. We know what he can bring to the team. He can still progress, he knows it. I took him under my wing, I boost him. He always gives the maximum.”
