The Brazil striker headed in at the end of the first half after Lucas Leiva had glanced on James Milner’s free-kick.

Milner volleyed over Liverpool’s clearest second-half chance, as they secured a fifth win in seven games.
They needed Simon Mignolet to make a late save with his legs as Matt Phillips burst through to shoot.
