Manchester United have agreed to sell Cristiano Ronaldo but only if he agrees to join a club side outside the English Premier League.
Recall that Chelsea has put Ronaldo on their radar but Manchester United insists he wouldn’t be sold to any English club side.
Ronaldo announced on Saturday that he will be seeking to continue his football career elsewhere after missing out on all trophies available in England and Europe last season.
The 37-year-old forward wants Champions League football next season.
Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, held discreet talks with Chelsea last week as the Blues appear to be the most interested party for him.
Ronaldo signed two years contract with Manchester United last season but now wants to leave after the club’s unimpressive performance last season that saw them finish 6th on the log and only qualify to play in the Europa League.
