Man Utd announce new jersey sponsor to replace Chevrolet

Premier League giant, Manchester United’s new shirt sponsors TeamViewer is worth a massive £235m.

The Manchester Evening News says the five-year partnership has been described by United sources as the ‘biggest shirt-only’ deal in the Premier League and the largest sponsorship of any kind secured by a sports team over the past year.

Germany-based TeamViewer will replace Chevrolet at the start of the 2021-22 season on the front of United shirts, ending the American car manufacturer’s seven-year run as United’s shirt sponsors. It is also understood United are in discussions over a new training kit sponsor.

The TeamViewer logo is blue and white, and will be modified to just white on United’s shirts.

United sources have refused to give a specific figure but suggested it is comparable with the £47million-a-year deal Barcelona agreed with Rakuten in 2016.
