Real Madrid legend Fernando Morientes insists Raul is ready to succeed Zinedine Zidane.
Currently in charge of Castilla, Raul is a candidate for the senior job should Zidane step down at the end of the season.

Morientes told Radio Cope: “Raúl is a very reliable option to replace Zidane.
“He is more prepared than anyone to coach Real Madrid.

“I get along well with Raúl, but I have not asked him if he is going to coach Real Madrid.”
Morientes also says that Raúl’s working method “is very innovative” and ended by saying that “(Santiago) Solari had a lot of personality, but Raúl is that multiplied by two”.
