Chelsea star Kai Havertz admits he feels comfortable in a false nine role.

Havertz struck once and created another in their 4-1 win against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

And speaking after the match, Havertz confirmed he felt happiest in the false nine position and wants to remain there.

“Yeah I like it,” he said.

“I think it’s a good position for me.

“I think I have the freedom to go everywhere I want to go. As a striker it’s always easier to play.

“I hope I can continue like that.”
