Tottenham duo combine to break 26-year EPL record

Tottenham pair Harry Kane and Heung-min Son broke a Premier League record in victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Kane and Son have now combined for 14 Premier League goals this season, the highest amount that any two players have mustered in the division during a single campaign.

The previous record was 13 goals, set by Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton during Blackburn’s title-winning campaign of 1994-95.

In the 2018-19 season, meanwhile, Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson linked up for 12 goals for Bournemouth.

Tottenham have also now scored 100 goals this season across all competitions.
