Manchester City on Saturday night defeated Inter Milan 1-0 In what turned out to be a historic affair, in the final of the UEFA Champions League at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on Sunday.
The win over Inter Milan helped City complete a historic treble and also win their first UCL crown for the first time in their history after many attempts.
Pep Guardiola’s side began on a strong note, but suffered a change in the first half as an injured Kevin De Bruyne was replaced by Phil Foden. With the departure of De Bruyne, City lost some momentum and entered half-time as the match remained goalless.
With both sides battling it out in the second half, Rodri responded to a cutback and converted it to give his side a 1-0 lead. Inter kept on pressing for an equalizer, with Romelu Lukaku coming close, but some good defending and excellent goalkeeping kept the scoreline at 1-0 till full-time.

The result meant all Italian sides who made it to the final of European competitions this season finished second all through.
