Arsenal chief Edu says they’ll be seeking a midfield schemer in January.

During the Arsenal fans’ forum on Tuesday evening, Edu admitted he knew exactly where he would be looking to strengthen the squad.

The lack of creativity from Mikel Arteta’s midfield has been highlighted as an issue, especially given Mesut Ozil’s axing.

“It’s quite clear what we need,” the Brazilian said.

“We need a player with creativity in the middle, we don’t have that in the squad right now.”
