PDP NWC boasts, we will produce more Govs in 2027; see why

The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said come 2027, the party will produce more state governors from the current 12 and take over governance at the centre.

The party’s National Working Committee (NWC) stated this on Sunday during a visit to the Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, at his country home, Sampou, in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area.

Speaking on behalf of the NWC, the National Treasurer, Alhaji Ahmed Yayare, said due to the level of disenchantment across the country, occasioned by the lingering economic hardship, PDP would produce more governors in 2027.

He noted that PDP was the only viable opposition party that could wrest political power from the All Progressives Congress  (APC) in 2027, stressing that “if it (PDP) does not take over the leadership of the country, it could be the end of democracy in Nigeria.”

“Nothing stops the PDP producing the president and the vice president in 2027. The cry of hunger and poverty is too much in the land.

“The 36 states of Nigeria are yearning for the return of PDP. The APC cannot go out to campaign because they will be stoned. Nigeria is in your hands. We need your support to salvage Nigeria.”

He said they were prepared to go round PDP states to canvass support ahead of the 2027 election and urged the governors to close ranks towards actualising their vision.

Yayare said the NWC was in Sampou to also commiserate with Senator Diri over the death of the Deputy Inspector General of Police (rtd), Moses Jituboh, and the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs Elizabeth Bidei.

The PDP National Secretary, Ude Okoye, also stated that the NWC was poised to reposition the party and demonstrate to Nigerians that they have an alternative that could offer quality leadership.

He said the NWC would swing into action towards strengthening the party and ensure that that there was respect for it and its  governors.

Okoye commended Diri for his examplary leadership and remarkable developmental strides in Bayelsa, saying the party was very proud of him.

Responding, Governor Diri said it was essential for the party and its governors to be united as the only viable party in opposition.

“As governors we need to work closely together. We need to do what is right without minding whose ox is gored.

“We can build consensus as an alternative way of resolving issues. It is not always proper to go to court whenever we are aggrieved. We cannot because of political considerations do the wrong thing. If PDP dies in our hands, posterity will not forgive us.”

Diri assured the party of his support, adding that he was not interested in polarising the PDP.

“If anybody is bigger than the party, the person can leave. It is PDP that has made most of us. We cannot be in PDP in the day time and at night be in another party. We need to do in-house cleansing.”

Diri expressed support for the idea of forming a mega party with PDP standing out prominently to take over power at the centre.

He equally urged his colleagues to strengthen the party so it can salvage the country from its current slide.

  • Why Nigerians will vote Tinubu for second term – Bwala

Why Nigerians will vote Tinubu for second term – Bwala

Mr Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Public Communications and Media to President Bola Tinubu has said that the president can’t be distracted about talks on the 2027 presidential election.

He said this on Wednesday in Abuja while speaking with newsmen at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat.

He said for now, President Tinubu was focused on governance and delivering on his mandate and promises to Nigerians.

He said he would therefore not be distracted by political comments ahead of the 2027 presidential election, adding that he was very focused on issues that bothers Nigerians to bring them out of hunger.

He assured that Tinubu was working to ensure that agriculture brought about the expected revolution and that Nigerians were able to deal with their everyday challenges.

“So the time for politicking is not yet, and when that time comes, we are going to be ready for everyone.

“The president’s agenda, which is working well, is what will naturally endear Nigerians to vote for him for the second term. He is more than eminently qualified constitutionally to contest for the second term in office.

“And God willing, if God gives him life and health, we do hope that he will run his cause as provided by the Constitution,” Bwala said.

On if the APC was jittery that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) won the just concluded Ghana presidential election, he said such could not happen now in Nigeria.

This, he said, was especially because Nigerians were seeing what the Tinubu-led administration was doing.

According to him, Nigerians only care about what they are confronted with everyday, irrespective of political affiliations.

“They don’t actually care whether you are white or black skinned or whatever, as long as what matters to them on their dinner table is dealt with,” he said.

The Presidential Aide expressed optimism that Nigerians would always stay with Tinubu because he had been  receiving commendations from every part of the country.

Bwala who was appointed on Nov. 14, debunked insinuations that he had been sidelined in the presidency, saying he had been carrying out the assignment he was appointed for without hindrance.

Bwala was the spokesman of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

The Presidential Aide who defected to the APC not long after the election, said though he had not been in touch with Atiku, he had no issue with him.

  • Why PDP should forget 2027 – Party Chieftain

Why PDP should forget 2027 – Party Chieftain

Alh. Niyi Adams, a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, says the party should forget fielding candidates for the 2027 general elections, if they do not enforce discipline. Adams, an erstwhile State Youth Leader, said this in an interview NAN on Monday in Lagos State.

The director, Campaign and Strategy,  Lagos State 2023 PDP Governorship Candidate, said that it would be difficult for the former ruling party to make a comeback in 2027, if it continued to condone indiscipline and anti-party activities.

He said that the party must stand up against indiscipline and anti-party activities that had continued to weaken its fold since it lost power in 2015.

“While some believe that anti-party activities should be a norm, the party leadership should not condone it any longer, so as to brighten PDP chances in 2027. I am not averse to reconciliation, but I am only averse to reconciliation without setting boundaries. If we don’t set boundaries, that same thing will happen again.

“We have been reconciling since, we cannot keep doing the same thing and expect different results. It’s either we get it right by reconciling and enforcing party discipline, or we will all see the implications and the consequences in 2027,” Adams said.

According to him, reconciliation without instilling party discipline will amount to a sheer waste of time and will not yield positive results. He urged the party and its leaders to forget events that happened in 2023 general elections and move on.

The chieftain, who described the current situation in the party as unfortunate, said that Nigerians were waiting for PDP to rescue them. Alleging involvement of external forces in the crisis facing PDP, Adams said that there must be consequences for everybody’s actions in the party.

“The reason why people have continued to engage in anti-party activities and have continued to grow in it, is that there has never been boundary enforcement. This is the major problem. Once there is discipline, we are good to go in 2027,” he said.

  • Beyond a fake agenda for 2027 – By Chidi Amuta

Beyond a fake agenda for 2027 – By Chidi Amuta

President Tinubu may have stumbled on a sustaining logic and viable mission for his political future. Prior to last fortnight, I was among those who were doubting what narrative or political argument could  sustain Mr. Tinubu’s interest in a 2027 run. Now, there seems to be something in the works. It is the fickle and belated argument that Nigerians had lived a fake life of petro consumerism before last May’s removal of petroleum subsidy. Prior to then, we all had lived a ‘fake life’ of prodigal waste.

We were splurging on our oil wealth through unlimited burning of cheap fuel. We were owning and driving fleets of multiple cars. We were often going to nowhere in particular in these cars. Those with no cars or rickshaws were using cheap gasoline to powered noisy ‘I pass my Neighbour’ generators to power homes,  run tiny businesses or just pollute the air in order to charge their phones for gossiping on social media.

In other cases, we  were watching helplessly as greedy smugglers trucked loads of cheap gasoline across the borders and hauling in stashes of cheap cash. Oil oligarchs were fleecing the state through opaque and dubious oil subsidy scams. The annual national budget was being manipulated and padded to provide and pay for dubious subsidy provisions.

Then came a savior, so the new narrative goes. On May 29th 2023, an elected messiah strolled in with a message of salvation casually delivered: “oil subsidy is gone!”. Mr. Tinubu casually commanded an end to the bazaar of fake life. No systematic thinking followed the policy jolt. No measures to protect us from this casual cruelty. Only hints from the IMF suggested an informed policy. But the public cruelty was unmistakable, total  and instant. The mass suffering was undisguised. Living costs shot through the roof. Transportation costs sent every other cost upwards till now. As it were, the whole society was being compelled to do penance for a past life of wasteful oil consumption. A fake and indulgent past life was bound to end as a new sheriff swept into town. This seems to  be the new narrative.

This thoughtless policy announcement is now being painted as a messianic intervention of epic proportions. Tinubu has come to save us from our past prodigality. What has so far been an accidental presidency is now being rebranded into a salvation mission.  A squad of clueless political jobbers hurriedly assembled as a government is now being cast as an army of reformers out to save an economy  and punish  a wasteful society for its past sins. A  basically clueless president now wants to be greeted as a crusading messianic figure who came to end a culture of fake wasteful  consumption of the nation’s oil resources in the form of cheap gasoline.

Tinubu was speaking recently through a surrogate at the graduation ceremony of a University in Kwara state. Nigerians are enamored of fake things, quacks  and false prophets and politicians that parade fake credentials and false promises.

The pronouncement went viral. In a nation that is instinctively religious in its understanding of public issues, the accusation of a past fake life of unthinking consumption caught on. Nigerians had sinned in the oast and are now paying for their past sins. The president was accusing the Nigerian populace of the sin of past gluttony and waste. The president is now a messiah with an implicit mandate to end the fake life and replace it with one of prudence and frugality. The higher pump peroces and mass pauperization are aspects of the penance that we all have to poay for our past sins. The removal of oil subsidy is now presented as a much deserved act of  expiation for past sins. Our people are being punished to do penance for a past life of prodigal waste and reckless indulgence.

To the best of my knowledge, the Tinubu presidency has so far not come up with a strong enough argument that could necessitate a 2027 run for a second term. Yet the machinery for a second term run is everywhere in evidence. Pressure groups are springinh up in all corners of the nation. Carefully nominated spokespersons are making coordinated noises. Yet, the public has not quite seen in the episodic style of governance anything that should support lacks an argument. Its programs lack a consistency. It’s achievement remain scanty and eclectic. It has not articulated a systematic programme that could sustain government for four years. And yet, the administration is nearly halfway through its tenure. How to find justification for the remaining time and onwards to 2027 remains the lingering political problem of the administration. Therefore, stumbling on this messianic streak could be a saving grace. Clearly, the magnitude of national problems that remain unaddressed is a mountain. It is easier  to replace the multitude of probems with a single messianic salvation mission.

Couched in terms of saving us all from a sinful fake life, the mandate of the Tinubu presidency becomes both a moral and economic crusade. Coupled with foreign exchange and other economic policy crises, the fuel subsidy removal salvation mandate can stand as a national economic reform measure. But taken together, their negative impacts cannot market them politically for another presidential term. But dressed in moral garb, a mission to encourage an end to a fake life could pass for a crusade for a review of our moral values.

Tinubu wants to migrate from an economic reformer to a moral crusader for a new economic order. But in order to make that somersault, Mr. Tinubu will need a total makeover. He needs to revamp and come clean on his personal credentials.  He needs to rejig his team by replacing fellow travelers and debt collectors with technocrats. He needs to revise his priorities and revise or even review the agenda of his creaky party.

Those expensive real estate renovations in his previous budgets need urgent review. Those new executive jets,  fleets of SUVs and those lengthy motorcades and yachts etc do not quite fit into any reformist moral agenda. You need to save yourself before setting out to save others! The question remains this: does Mr. Tinubu have the moral credentials to navigate Nigeria from an assumed sinful past?

It is politically unwise in any case for a leader to set himself above the people. It is erroneous to posit the people as sinners and the leader as a saint. The consumption of subsidized petroleum products is the result of past government policies. Tinubu was here with us through the various dispensations that instituted the subsidized petrol prizes. He and his numerous businesses was a beneficiary of the subsidized prices. It is doubtful whether he and his relations and associates were totally innocent of the wheeling and dealing in petroleum products imports that sustained the subsidy regime.

The most important requirement of credible political leadership is to rise above a messianic posturing and immerse oneself in the crises and problems in which the people find themselves. The challenge of credible political leadership is to face the problems of a tenure and seek to resolve them by uplifting the people from the challenges that torment them. To distance oneself from the challenges and posit oneself above the people is false consciousness which can at best convert the leader into an aloof and distant messianic figure far removed from the realities that define general social existence.

If 2027 is the issue on hand, then the Tinubu government must face up to the challenge of that our current problems are largely the result of both its inherited and self-created policy quagmire. Tinubu created the subsidy removal and its serial conseqences. He created the consequences of the foreign exchange merger. He imposed the myriad taxes, levies, tariffs, charges that have joiied forces to make life unlivable for most Nigerians. Hunger became a national feature under his watch just as suicide became an option for a lot of Nigerians seeking to escape from the harrowing realities of the present time.

The road to escape from these consequences of present day policies should be the basis of  whatever new thinking the president and his team want to advance for a possible 2027 run. Better solutions to the problems already created by the Tinubu government should be the basis of any credible opposition to the Tinubu incumbency.

There is no need to negatively brand all Nigerians or consign us all into a tribe of sinners just to find a narrative to ennoble Mr. Tinubu’s rudderless stewardship find an excuse for its elongation. We are already suffering enough of the consequences of bad governance. There is no need to call us names, insult us further or, for that matter, burden us with guilt just to sit comfortably on its bruised backs.

  • 2027: Loyalists want PDP presidential ticket zoned to South

2027: Loyalists want PDP presidential ticket zoned to South

A group of PDP loyalists, under the aegis of Coalition of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Intellectuals Worldwide, has urged the party to zone its 2027 presidential ticket to the southern part of Nigeria.

National Coordinator of the group, Mr Grema Muhammad, stated this while addressing newsmen in Abuja on Monday.

Muhammad said that the party lost the 2019 and 2023 presidential elections because its power rotation principle was not implemented.

He said that owing to the failure to honour the principle of power rotation, PDP did not only lose the presidential election, it also lost its strongholds in the South-East zone.

According to Muhammad, the party cannot afford to make another mistake.

“They cannot continue to drain the energy and resources of party members in vain, all because institutions that are responsible for doing the right thing are failing in their duties,” he said.

The national coordinator said that steps must be taken to field vibrant, intelligent, tested and trusted individual to represent the party, come 2027.

“As we build up to 2027, we are staunchly warning the leaders of our party that this time, we must put party interest first and above all, we must return the presidential ticket to the southern part of the country.

“This is a clarion and noble call for all PDP faithful, our highly respected elders, governors, stakeholders and members.

“Let us all heed this call and begin the drive to actualise this now; we are are calling for a twin reform of zoning party ticket to the South and seeking out competency and ability as the guiding benchmark.

“We are also calling on those who are so passionate about serving the country by always aspiring for the party’s presidential ticket to know that it is also a call to service when you support the party and other people too.

“The overall interest of every PDP member should be the victory of the party at the presidential election. All interests should align with the party’s interest, no matter the cost,” he said.

Muhammad said that the coalition would lead the campaign to all zones of the federation and states until their voices were heard.

  • 2027 elections: Labour Party denies having pact with Tinubu

2027 elections: Labour Party denies having pact with Tinubu

The Labour Party (LP) has dismissed the video making the rounds in the social media that its leadership was partnering with President Bola Tinubu ahead of 2027 general election.

Mr Obiora Ifoh, National Publicity Secretary, LP said this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

According to Ifoh, the party has on several occasions debunked the allegations that it has an understanding with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to collaborate in the 2027 general election.

“As a matter of fact, the Labour Party is the most visible opposition party as at today and our National Chairman, Barrister Abure is the leading voice in the opposition camp, and has been most critical of the present government.

‘”After the 2023 general election, it continued to interrogate the system’s failure and has been very visible playing the role of the opposition, continuously critiquing the policies, proffering solutions and advising the government.

“Recently, the party under the able leadership of Mr Julius Abure came up with series of programmes, including the creation of the Electoral Reform Committee.

“With it we hope to enthrone a credible, fair and transparent processes, leading to the selection of leadership in the country, Labour Party being a major victim in the 2023 general election,” he stated.

Ifoh said the party had created a Political Education Committee for reorienting citizens on the need to have a positive behavioral changes towards politics in Nigeria.

He also saidthe party had become the first party in Nigeria attempting to deepen participatory democracy by the introduction of e-membership registration with thousands of people already subscribing.

”All these efforts to reposition the party, for someone to be demarketing such a party in such an unguarded and callous manner, is most ridiculous and unfortunate.

“We are, therefore. challenging Deji Adeyanju and any other person to come up with facts and proofs that either the party leadership or Mr. Abure intends to work for President Bola Tinubu or his party, the APC in the 2027.

”Adeyanju’s assertion which is presently trending globally has caused the Labour Party enormous harm and we are demanding that he refrains from causing the party further harms.

“As a political party, we view Deji Adeyanju’s now viral comments as a criminal defamation, a clearly motivated ploy to ridicule our hard earned reputation.

“We are therefore, calling on Mr Adeyanju to without delay provide facts and evidences to prove that Labour Party has been ‘bought’ over by President Tinubu.

“He also has a choice to withdraw his ill assertions and apologize to the leadership and millions of members of Labour Party for the great harm he has caused the party,” he stated.

  • 2027 Elections: Okupe denies ruling out Tinubu for re-election

2027 Elections: Okupe denies ruling out Tinubu for re-election

A former Presidential Spokesperson, Dr Doyin Okupe, says at no time has he ever ruled out the possibility of President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2027 elections.

Okupe made the remark in a statement on Monday in Lagos, while reacting to some online media reports on his statement regarding 2027 presidential elections.

The former Director-General of Mr Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Council, said that he remained a committed supporter of President Tinubu’s administration.

Okupe said that he strongly believed in Tinubu’s vision to address the current challenges facing Nigeria, which according to him, are inherited from previous governments.

“It has come to our attention that some online blogs, including the Daily Post, published a story attributing a baseless and misleading statement to Dr Doyin Okupe, the former Presidential Spokesman, regarding the 2027 presidential election.

“The article falsely claims that Dr Okupe said the 2027 election would be ‘Game Over’ for President Bola Tinubu, if the North were to field former President Goodluck Jonathan as a candidate.

“We wish to clarify that this story is a complete distortion of Dr Okupe’s words and a deliberate misrepresentation of his views.

“What Dr Okupe actually expressed in a tweet only had to do with those he described as pseudo politicians who lack deep thinking, and assume that a joint ticket between former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Mr Peter Obi or the North fielding Jonathan as a presidential candidate, would defeat President Tinubu, as those thinking in that direction will be dissappointed.

“This statement was made in the context of political strategy,” Okupe explained.

He described the online misrepresentation as a “clear example of media manipulation, designed to misinform the public and sow discord”.

Okupe called on the general public to be cautious of such misleading narratives and to verify information before forming opinions.

“He remains unwavering in his commitment to supporting President Bola Tinubu’s administration and the progress of Nigeria.

“Any attempt to twist his words or intentions will not deter him from continuing to advocate for policies that will help Nigeria thrive.

“We trust that this clarification will put to rest any confusion caused by the Daily Post’s reporting,” he added.

  • 2027 elections: I’ll deliver Kano to APC – Tinubu’s new Minister boasts

2027 elections: I’ll deliver Kano to APC – Tinubu’s new Minister boasts

The newly appointed Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi, has pledged to deliver Kano State to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.

Abdullahi, who stated this while briefing newsmen shortly after arriving in Kano on Sunday, also pledged his dedication to advancing President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He expressed his commitment to key into the renewed hope housing programme of Tinubu, commending the president for his appointment.

Abdullahi also promised to ensure that APC recaptures Kano State in the 2027 General Elections.

“This appointment is for the citizens of Kano State and Nigeria. I assure the President that, God willing, Kano State will return to be an APC stronghold in 2027.

“My appointment is primarily due to the political significance of Kano Central, a region with a substantial voter base.

“I will continue to be present in my ward and constituency to strengthen our political base,” he explained.

The minister highlighted the importance of completing the ongoing projects under his ministry, particularly those related to the  Renewed Hope Agenda.

He also expressed confidence in his ability to deliver on these commitments, drawing on his experience as a former Speaker and Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly.

“Kano Central has the highest vote. It has 65% of the registered voters and has no major appointment.

“But just now, the president has appointed me, and going by what they said, I have been in the House of Assembly since 1999.

”I was a speaker, majority leader, and Special Adviser to the Governor. So, we have all the confidence to win Kano State,” he said.

  • We will fix PDP to fix Nigeria – Makinde

We will fix PDP to fix Nigeria – Makinde

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State says the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will do everything within its power to fix the party and Nigeria.

Makinde stated this on Thursday in Abuja at the inauguration of the Board of Governors and the unveiling of the Roadmap for Peoples Democratic Institute (PDI).

PDI is the research arm of PDP established in 2000 to promote a new democratic culture in Nigeria and Africa through the provision of value-added education, training, capacity building, research, and documentation programmes.

Makinde said that PDP could fix Nigeria, adding that “we will fix PDP and then PDP will fix Nigeria, which will be the basis of real hope for the people of Nigeria.

“As we approach 2027, it is clear that the PDP has to provide real hope for Nigeria. By revitalising the PDI that real hope is being provided for our people.

“Our country needs direction. Nigerians are looking up to the PDP to provide an ideological foundation,” he said.

Makinde said that with the inauguration of the board, PDP was moving a step closer to defining the ideology it stood for.

He advised politicians and leaders who were given opportunity to serve to always ask themselves what they want to be remembered for.

The Oyo governor pledged his commitment to strengthening of the country’s democracy and PDP.

“From 2019, I’ve been benefitting from PDP. So, I want to say thank you to our great party, and all the stakeholders gathered here today, for giving me the opportunity to get not one, but two mandates, back to back, under this umbrella.

“The only thing I can promise you, is that, since I fetched water from that well, and I have been drinking since 1999, I will not pollute the well when it is time for me to exit that office,” he said.

Makinde also urged PDP leaders, members and stakeholders to go into the Nov. 16 Ondo governorship election united and resist any attempt to truncate the election.

He said that the PDP needed true reconciliation and unity to wrestle power from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo.

In his remarks, former Senate President, Sen. Bukola Saraki, emphasised the need to jointly build PDP, saying parties are built on ideas, philosophies and policies.

He urged PDP members to move away from building ideas on self or on ambition, as Nigeria move towards 2027.

“We cannot have an ambition if we don’t have a party. We cannot have a party if we don’t have ideas. This is where it starts from. This is the foundation that is important.

“Let us desist from talking about who is running for councilors, or who is running for governor, or who is running for president in 2027.

“Let us talk about what is PDP. What does PDP represent? These are the issues and policies that we must take into account,” Saraki said.

In his acceptance speech, the Chairman of PDI Board of Governors, Taofeek Arapaja, pledged the governing board members’ commitment to the mission, and vision of PDI, and to the guiding principles of the PDP.

Arapaja, who is the PDP Deputy National Chairman (South), commended the party leadership and Makinde’s efforts at revamping PDI, said that the board would advance the principles of PDI to enrich Nigeria’s democracy.

“As we embark on this journey, we pledge that we will live with innovations, transparency and inclusivity.

“We are passionate about equipping the next generation of leaders and ensuring that the PDI becomes a true engine of progressive thoughts, skills, building and intellectual discourse within our party and beyond.

“We envision a PDI that is not just a research institute, but a vibrant, inclusive hub for the youths, women and all party members,” Arapaja said.

The Director General of PDI, Dr Edward Adie, acknowledging the support of Makinde for revamping of the institute, seek support from all in terms of funding, personnel among others.

He said that research institute such as PDI was critical for party electoral success, funding substance of power and needed training for political leaders.

PDP leaders call for unity ahead of 2027 elections

Chieftains of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State have emphasised the need for unity and a single voice ahead of the 2027 general elections.

This call was made at a meeting organised by the Diadem, a technocrats’ group, and the PDP in Ifako/Ijaiye Local Government Area (LGA), on Thursday in Lagos to commemorate Nigeria’s 64th independence anniversary.

Dr Dayo Kayode, convener and aviation expert, highlighted the need for members to put aside personal interests, emphasising that differences in politics were normal, but party interest should be supreme.

He also announced plans to register 100,000 organic members across various electoral wards to boost the party’s chances.

Dr Bolaji Akinyemi, keynote speaker, emphasised understanding how to build the nation, citing corruption, bad leadership, and electoral corruption as significant issues.

He advocated for increasing intelligent voters and reverting to the 1963 Republican Constitution.

PDP chairmen, Prince Muftau Oyelekan and Alhaji Isiaka Shodiya, urged Nigerians to give the party a chance in 2027, highlighting PDP’s footprints in Oyo, Ondo, Osun, Kwara, and other states.

Shodiya vowed to replicate the membership drive project in his council area.
