    ‘We are not boys anymore, settle your rift’- Faze tells BlackFace,2baba

    Kolomental singer and member of the defunct Plantashun Boiz, Faze has stated his views on the feud beween his former band mates , 2face and BlackFace. In a recent interview with Hip TV, he urged the two singers to mend their broken walls and resolve their feud.

    Over the years , BlackFace has levelled various accusations against 2face

    Faze puts it this way:” We are not boys anymore. Not Plantashun Boiz, we are Plantashun men.What I think is that 2face has played his part by keeping quiet about the situation, he’s not talking about it a lot and Blackface, I think he’s really bitterly hurt, but there are some things you don’t have to take to the media.I speak to him on the phone, we argue about that all the time. I think he should cool down. And then on my other side, I feel that 2face should take up his phone one day and say ‘Hey Black, how far, make we see now. Make we try iron this out’.

     

    “I don’t know what is actually going on. I have actually done my best to make things work out.”

     

    Faze also disclosed that they had recorded a song together inspite of the feud between 2face and Blackface. According to him:”We actually met and did a song together. This is a secret nobody knows about. This was after the incident of that let somebody love you song. We recorded together and it was lovely and something we wanted to actually put out. Next two days, I’m seeing 2face saying Blackface has written something online. I said; what again? after the recording?

     

    “Both of them know what’s going on. That’s what I just believe in. What I just want them to do is find time to see each other. When they don’t decide to sit down together, I know that there’s something wrong.He should relax and focus on his music and let the thing go,”

    CEO of Now Musik cum manager to 2face Idibia, Efe Omoregbe has stated reasons why they are taking legal actions against 2face’s ex-band mate, Blackface. Omoregebe revealed that the said letter is the first step into finally putting an end to the baseless allegations from ‘Blackface’ . Recall that over the years, Blackface has accused 2face of song theft, sabotage, music royalty fraud and more.

    Sopeaking with TheNetng in a chat , Omoregbe said:”We’re giving him the opportunity to retract his malicious statements or apologize for them before deciding on court action. Court is usually the last step seeking justice for injuries to reputations such as this.Well we reserve the right to change our mind on how best to respond. It was our choice to ignore him while we did and now we’ve decided to take action. He has seven days to retract or apologize has instructed by our lawyers”.

    Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo known by his stage name Blackface Naija has reacted to the letter sent by 2face through his lawyers to him. In the letter,2face asked him to apologize within seven days for all the offensive statements he has made against the 2face brand and his manager, Efe Omoregbe. Reacting to the letter sent to him, BlackFace has vowed never to apologize to 2face .2face asked Blackface to tender an apology for accusing him of song theft, sabotage, music royalty fraud amongst other accusations.

     

    Speaking with LIB in an interview, he said :”They sent me that letter some days ago asking me to apologize. Rastaman apologizes to nobody man. Rasta will never apologize to them because they are filled with evil and fuckery so they should go to hell and anything they want to do they should do but I know that my lawyers should have served them already. What am I apologizing for? Somebody takes your music and then you apologize? Is that for real? They are really playing with themselves and I think the manager is putting him in a whole lot of trouble. They know they are in a whole lot of trouble. They took a lawyer from Oshodi bridge to write something for them who does not even know how to weigh the case and know what to even write. Illiteracy is around them. They are crazy. They don’t even know what they are doing “he said

     

    He added that the evidence is there,saying his song was stolen by 2face. Hear him:”The evidence is there that they sang my song and somebody else published it. It is my song and somebody else published it. I am not even talking about African woman right now. I am talking about Let Somebody Love you. That song shouldn’t have been released without my permission because it is my song. The manager went to publish my song. I don’t know what kind of pilfering they are doing because they are industry crooks. They are robbing the industry of a whole lot of things. That is what they are doing” he revealed.

    Nigerian pop star ,Innocent Ujah Idibia better known by his stage name 2face Idibia has revealed reasons why he chose Annie despite having two baby mamas. Speaking in an interview with Soundcity FM, he said he couldn’t deceive himself any longer and had choose Annie amongst his harem of women.

     

    Hear him: “I was just deceiving myself that … you know as man dey do sometimes. He go see wetin actually dey down but he go feel say make I see whether. You know all that kind nonsense behaviour. But at one point in time, I was like look I’m not going to let this girl go. I just started realizing that this is who I want to be with .This is actually who I want to spend the rest of my life with. This is the person that actually does it for me. So there is no need to deceive myself anymore. I come beg, them come gree.”

     

    When asked how marriage has changed his outlook towards life, he said being married has made him a more mature man.

    “ Love made me a more mature and better person. It made me understand that you know that there are so many things you have to work out together with people that you care about, It’s not all bed of roses all the time, it’s not all smooth. There are sometimes that you disagree to agree and all that kind of stuff, But you just have to mature enough to work through these things. These things will come, challenges will come. You just have to put heads together and work through them.”

    Controversial singer, BlackFace is throwing more jabs at his former friend and ex-member of the defunct Plantashun Boyz, 2face Idibia. He once again took to his Instagram page, subtly calling 2face Judas Iscariot.

    He shared a screenshot of a fake WhatsApp chat showing what it would have been like in the time of Jesus and his disciples If Whatsapp existed at that time.

    In the Whatsapp group, one of the chats was from ‘Jesus’ and it read:”One of you will betray me today” and soon after there’s a notification indicating that ‘Judas Iscariot has left the group”.

    Obviously Blackface was indirectly referring to 2face as Judas Iscariot(a betrayer)

    Former member of Plantashun Boiz, Ahmedu Augustine, popularly known as Blackface, has once again renewed his rivalry with pop star 2face Idibia. In time past, BlackFace has accused 2face of stealing his songs and has threatened to drag him to court.

    The irritated Blackface once again took to his Instagram page to lash out at his former friend , 2face.

    According to him:” Now for the record #2faceidibia if I didn’t work with you @official2baba in #plantashunboiz and asked you to sing one of the quickest song I ever I wrote #africanqueen you wouldn’t have had a big hit as it is termed and next to that is my song #letsomebodyloveyou .You sang it without my permission”.

    He added that 2face is a lazy artiste and that he planned to sabotage him in the industry.

    Hear him:” Because you’re a lazy artist despite all your gifts and when you found out I was making new artists famous and i was improving vocally, you got jealous and planned the industry to sabotage me and you kept making music about it ”

  • What 2face did for the IDPs

    Nigerian pop star, 2face Idibia has donated N3.5M to IDPs. Internally displaced persons can now rejoice as a result of 2face’s donation.

    The African queen star made a cheque donation on Monday, February 27th,to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Lagos.

    Speaking during the donation, he said:”The conditions I met the internally displaced persons, when I visited their various camps were terrible. They were really terrible. The 2Face Foundation has, therefore, decided to enter into partnership with the UNHCR to see how we can help put smiles on the faces of these persons. My foundation is today presenting this cheque to the UNHCR to support it in its operations of alleviating the sufferings of these IDPs.”

    Ms Brigitte Mukango Eno, the UNHCR’s Acting Country Representative in Nigeria who received the cheque thanking the pop icon said: “We sincerely want to express the gratitude of the UNHCR to 2Face. This is a right step toward our private sector following. Over these years, it has become important for us, as an organisation, to depend on the private sector, for us to be able to meet our responsibilities. 2Face has scored a very important goal by discovering the UNHCR Office within the UN system. We want to use this opportunity to appeal to other private Nigerians and philanthropists to emulate this gesture by the 2Face Foundation in alleviating the conditions of the IDPs in the North East.”
