    Ubi Franklin, CEO of Made Men Music Group (MMMG), has revealed the two dreams he desires to accomplish before he quits the entertainment business.

     

    The astute young entrepreneur said he would love to manage 2face Idibia as an artiste and also sign a gospel artiste to his record label.

     

    Franklin made this known in a chat with TheNewsGuru.

     

    Hear him: “My dream is to manage 2face as an artiste and signing a gospel artiste to my record label. 2face will never lose relevance, till he dies. He is a good guy”

     

     

    When asked about his relationship with his former business partner, Iyanya who is now signed to Mavin Records, he said: “Iyanya is a brother, we would always work together. A disagreement or fight didn’t lead to our parting ways”.

    The alluring mother of one still possesses what it takes to thrill fans and get them dancing to her music .

    As the only female act that headlined the show with 2Baba, she lived up to what she is known for. In an age where the average female artiste depends on the DJ on the wheels of steel, Tiwa blended with a live band and a full choreographed dance group led by Kaffy.

    Another highpoint of her performance was when she brought up Kaffy’s five-year-old son who thrilled the audience with his dance steps.

    You can condemn every other thing about Flavour, but detesting his soulful feminine voice is what is difficult to do.

    The lanky highlife crooner performed songs like Ada Ada, Golibe and Ogene.

    The audience went wild when the colourful masquerade got on stage during his brilliant performance. Clad in a black shirt blended with a black pant, the contemporary highlife sensation gave the audience something to always cherish about the event.

    As a means of reliving the memories of the Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, 2face Idibia did a freestyle on an Afriobeat progression that got the audience cheering in excitement. He also invited music veterans , Sound Sultan and Tony Tetuila to join him on stage .

    The African Queen singer has always been known for his ability to create spontaneous vocals at the climax of his performances.

    When 2face returned for the second set of his performance, he made everyone emotional when he rendered an RnB tune and dedicated it to his mum who also attended the event.

    2face’s much anticipated concert, Buckwyld n Breathless may have come and gone but fans will not forget in a hurry how he gave X-rated advice to men about unprotected sex.

    Music lovers came out en masse to witness the pop star’s 30 minutes long performance which was one of the high points of the concert.

    He started by asking if ‘these small children don sleep’, apparently referring to his two daughters Isabella and Olivia who came to the show with their mother Annie.

    African Queen crooner, 2face has reacted to the controversial deaths that befell Davido’s friends namely Tagbo, DJ Olu and Chime.

    Reacting to the accusations trailing Davido, 2face said:” Nobody plans for stuff like this. It makes you want to start to think, should I hide myself? Should I stop being that jolly good fellow? So many things come to your head when things like this happen.

     

    “There are only two things, one, keep your head straight and two be grateful to friends and your creator and then henceforth just be careful. Don’t change your friendliness for anything and you know how people are always quick to write your own story on your behalf,” he said.

    Recall that Davido has been in the news over the mysterious death of three of his friends, Olugbemiga ‘DJ Olu’ Abiodun, Tagbo Umeike and Chime Amaechi who all died within one week.

    The concert is tagged The Lagos Dream personified by Flavour, Tiwa Savage, and 2baba to hold at the Eko Convention Centre .

     

    The supporting musicians for the anticipated concert include Timaya, Dj Jimmy Jatt, Efya, Kiss Daniel, Kelly Hansome, Mr. 2kay, Acetune, Joe El, Elajoe and Gemstone.

    Nigerian pop star, 2face Idibia has fired back at Charly Boy for saying he is part of Nigeria’s problems. According to 2face, he doesn’t understand why the self –proclaimed Area Fada would criticize him for not joining the Charly Boy led protest .

     

    In his words:”The only thing I have to say about the protest is that I am not Nigeria’s problem. I don’t understand why Charly Boy is calling me out. He should talk to the people that are Nigeria’s problem. That is all I have to say about that,” he said.

    Speaking about the recent release and acquittal of his former label mate, Dammy Krane who was accused of credit card fraud in the US, he said:”I always knew that Dammy Krane would be freed but you know that he still had to go to court and clear his name. It was just unfortunate that it happened to him.

     

     

    “I would say that he was at the right place at the wrong time. He was going for a show and some people that were travelling with him were of questionable character and it implicated everyone else. It could have happened to anybody.

     

    “A similar occurrence almost happened to me once. I went for a show in Amsterdam or somewhere in Europe, I can’t really recall. The ticket was bought with stolen cards and I did not know. It almost caused problems for me but everyone was aware that I did not buy the ticket myself so they sorted it out. Such an incident could happen to anybody”.

    We have to engage our leaders-2face Idibia declares

    Innocent Idibia better known as 2face has commenced his peace campaign to promote Anambra governorship election on November 8. The pop star on Thursday initiated the “Vote Not Fight, Election No Be War” campaign.

    Addressing newsmen in Awka, Idibia emphasized on the need for all to work together to avert the needless loss of lives before, during and after the election.

     

    According to the African Queen crooner:”Since 2015, I and the partner organizations on the Vote Not Fight campaign have worked tirelessly to increase youth participation in our country’s election,” he said.

     

    “I call on the youth of Anambra to ensure that they go out and vote for the candidates of their choice.

     

    “The legitimacy of government is dependent on peaceful, free, fair and credible elections.”

     

    He stated that, even if Biafra is granted today, peace will still be required for elections to hold.

     

    “We have to go out, show maturity and vote responsibly. We have to monitor and engage our leaders. I encourage our youths to join political parties of their choice and grow to help make informed decisions.”

     

    Idibia persuaded political parties and candidates to utilize established legal avenues when they have concerns about the election.

    Dancehall singer and ex-member of the Plantashun Boyz, Austine Obiabo Amedu, otherwise known as Blackface is the last person you would expect to profess love for his ex-band mates.

    The outspoken singer shocked his fans when he expressed his endless love for his estranged band mates, Faze and 2face Idibia.Recall that 2face and Blackface have been slamming each other following the latter’s claim that the former stole his song, African Queen.

     

    Despite their ongoing feud, Blackface took to his Facebook page sharing a picture of himself, 2face and Faze during their days as members of the Plantashun Boyz.
