BREAKING: ADEBOYE BOMBSHELL: Nigeria will cease to exist if killings of Christians persist

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Friday warned Nigerian government to curb the incessant killings of Christians, while stressing that Nigeria may cease to exist as a country if the deadly act continues.

Adeboye who made the declaration at the ongoing Holy Ghost service for the month of May, 2018 tagged: Greater Than Your Enemies [5]– with sub theme, ‘Habitation of the Almighty’, also warned that no country survives a religious. He called on the Buhari led government to urgently end the killings before it dovetails into a religious war.

Recall that Boko Haram, herdsmen have made headlines for murdering and terrorizing Nigerians seemingly unabated.

Specifically, only recently, some bandits suspected to be herdsmen led an attack that killed two Reverend fathers and 17 Christians in Benue State.

Watch out for the explosive message.

    Details soon…

Nigeria: 2019 Elections Conversations, Tithe, Adeboye, RCCG, Oyedepo, Daddy Freeze, Durotoye and Sowore

    By Nneka Okumazie

Sadly for Nigeria, tithes is where we are as a nation. It is incredibly pathetic that as the debate rages, the heat has been turned on pastors, who now share responsibility as the reason for poverty. The picture painted by Daddy Freeze and his addicts is that everyone that goes to Church is poor, and they use the money of those poor for Church assets and luxury. This is not the case. Daddy Freeze often says there is no prosperity by giving, that the richest people in the world do not give to churches or pay tithes, maybe. But in that same country, there are millions of passionate Christians who give and are in their way prosperous.

In the Bible, there were not too many records of most of the people who gave tithes becoming as wealthy, but it was a command in the Old Testament, a necessity in Christianity. Jesus quoted from the Scriptures at His time. The Apostles quoted from the Scriptures at their time. There were several kinds of wonders in the Old Testament that weren’t performed in the New Testament.

Jesus transiently mentioned tithing, but also said “lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven”. He said give, and it shall be given unto you. Tithing can be a way to do both, depending on individual. Tithes are a source of income for Churches; some of the uses are conspicuous. No matter how anyone feels, tithing is not by force, and if a person is not convinced to give, it is better not to.

It is possible to be a genuine Christian and have struggles giving; it is also possible to be a genuine Christian and have struggles with the “go ye into the all world and preach the gospel” command. There may be a chance that a person had a useful opportunity to preach or give, or for forgiveness but did not, and may miss Heaven just because; who knows. Christ Jesus said, “for I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me; But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

What Pastor Adeboye of RCCG told the Church individuals may rest on this: that they may be doing everything else, they should not ignore tithes as it will count towards Heaven. He had at other instances spoken passionately about evangelism according to transcripts of some of his messages. But taking that old tithe comment, and turning it into poverty and Nigeria problem is revealing of the priorities of Nigeria.

Churches in Nigeria have rich members who made money legitimately. They give. Sometimes personally for the pastors welfare, which are not totally luxurious, but the pastors are accused of robbing the poor. Also, no true Pastor will say, do not study, or not go to work. Faith and prayers are fuel in doings but faith and work are a necessity.

Daddy Freeze is passionate against tithes, churches and pastors. It will be interesting to see his list of true churches in Nigeria, if any. Daddy Freeze wants to expose pastors, wants tithes gone and wants to free people from what he believes is brainwashing. Sorry, but if Churches went away, Nigeria will still remain underdeveloped, so, one wonders the lasting goal of his banal campaign.

Assuming Daddy Freeze is passionate about road safety, with new ideas, forums, CSR involvements, projects, etc. His passion will spark others, major differences will be made, he can accept proposals, use the thoughtful ones, he’ll have followers, volunteers, and lives will be saved from crashes, etc. because of them.

Road safety, regular electricity, employment, etc., are some of the areas he would have made a difference. There are young graduates routinely sorrowful on their jobs, or without work. There are people in tears when electricity is OFF. Yet, no one is passionate about any of these and the buzz is against the Church, a place some people go just to hope.

There are mosques everywhere, many have loudspeakers outside, but nobody can touch them. The real swindlers of the poor are Bet and Lotto companies but everyone looks away. Banks and Telcos make giants profits, some from charges, what have they done to useful development of Nigeria? For all, the Church is at fault. As much as it looks like religion is everywhere, religion is largely personal. Nigeria has humongous underdevelopment problems requiring passion and thoughtfulness not distractions and pettiness: (Pope Benedict XVI taking alcohol or why one Pastor won’t make Heaven).

Daddy Freeze said recently to the BBC that Churches use the money of the poor to build schools, but their children cannot afford the schools. There are several ways to counter this blather. For example, you can look at net giving, cost of other private and state government universities, and scholarships that are not advertised.

The biggest problems Church Universities have is the same as all Federal, State and other Private Universities; it is that they don’t have passion for solutions to problems in Nigeria or anywhere else. Not one University is fiercely passionate about solutions, none, defend anything, none. Relentless passion for ways to find solutions; iterations when methods fail until they find what works. Passionate Universities would have produced more thoughtful graduates and automatic life assignments.

Children of the poor attend federal and state universities, after graduation, for many, no work. Assuming every poor child goes to Church Universities and after they graduate no work, it is possible Daddy Freeze would say why can’t the Church find work for them because they gave offerings. His sore hate, not that he wants to make anything better or has any ideas, would be better elsewhere because many Churchgoers in Nigeria are passionate about their Faith, even in trying times, they will not give up.

Daddy Freeze is a wasted opportunity. He would have shown Nigeria how to develop with passion, but he chose the wrong enemies that will outlast him and his cursed cause. There are two youthful presidential aspirants in their forties who want to make Nigeria good. One is a consultant and motivational speaker, Durotoye and the other is an investigative journalist, Sowore.

In their assumption, leadership is the problem of Nigeria, and they want to be the change. So wrong; Presidential or Vice Presidential leadership is not the answer to the problems of Nigeria, the lack of enduring passion for solutions is. Assuming any of these aspirants had championed a powerful passion, say against state governments who will do nothing for their people, but everyone comes to Lagos and some are homeless, this passion would have produced major results and new passion champions.

But NO, for them presidency is the answer, and everything else will answer to them in this corrupt system with unremitting engines of stupidity to distract people and projects that make situations worse. The aspirants have the right to run, hopefully it goes well for one of them, and maybe the President truly changes all.

A Pastor went in the forest in 1983 with vision for a large place of worship, another Bishop too had several visionary moves. But suddenly, Adeboye and Oyedepo are fakes by one Daddy Freeze who cannot own a radio station, and has never done anything substantive, zilch. It is a misfortune that tithes is where Nigeria is as the presidential election approaches. While there is need for genuinely passionate visionaries, Nigeria chose distraction.

  • ‘Pastor Adeboye, RCCG, Church, Daddy Freeze, Nigeria and Tithes’

    By Nneka Okumazie
Daddy Freeze is leading an online army against Pastor Adeboye of RCCG Church, they look for his old messages, find something the man said to members, post online and attack him. They attack the Church, the mission, the members, call him names and wish him ill.
To them Pastor Adeboye is a problem to speak against. They believe that whatever he’s doing as the leader of Redeem Church is harmful; they want him gone, plus the Church and other true Churches of GOD in Nigeria. The groupthink against the Pastor is so enormous; those who censure him consider themselves smart and emancipated.
Pastor Adeboye and Redeem Church seems to have an agenda they’re after – no matter what. They have their vision, mission, doctrines and beliefs, they also believe in growth, expansion and outreach. They seem like a team, seeking collective and individual success. They minister to themselves at different levels and places; they correct themselves, and probably help those in need. They know what they want; it seems, and continue in the Way.
Normally, if the message is not for you, it is easy to hear them and get irritated. That is a regular human feel for diverse situations you may know about but not a part. But taking this indignation to the next level by attacking them viciously shows that you think they are harmful to you or you feel you are smarter than them all. The question is what really is your business if they say what they say to themselves and believe what they believe? What is your own? You already hate them, you are not going there, you feel smarter than them, so what is the purpose of your blitzkrieg against them?
There can be legitimate and fair attacks of the Church or any of their branches, but attacking whatever they legitimately preach to themselves is unfair and shows that anti-Church activists have a problem not the Church.
There is so much hatred that the Church has branches everywhere, OK, so what is the problem with that, at least to the country of Nigeria? How does a branch of the Church affect graduates who had gone to universities and are so inarticulate, unskilled they cannot find work? How does the Church induce the missing, excellent intellectual thoughtfulness needed to make the country a better place? How does the Church contribute to making Nigeria have the exact same problems, thirty, twenty, ten years ago and till now?
Maybe one of these activists knows, they are free to express the answers. Nigeria is dangerously underdeveloped. Nobody seems to be thinking or those thinking are not in position, or those in position cannot think, or those who feel they can think can actually not think, or there is just a distraction action aided by individuals who do not think they are facilitating the government.
Daddy Freeze and all his bugs are tools for the government, if they do not know, then they are not smart. In a country where nothing is great, the President travels for medicals, then an old video is found by activists, sent to Daddy Freeze who pushes it and adds his hollow sermons, then it’s all over the place and chewed; nothing sweetens those consuming the money of the people than for someone to direct the focus of the people elsewhere.
Who cares if a Pastor says something to a Church congregation, how does that affect or not affect what Nigeria needs? If the Pastor says something you deem controversial, member or not, you can obey, reject or ignore, but what the hell does it affect development and growth, our very important needs as a nation?
Robbers recently attacked banks in Offa, Kwara State, killed many; it transiently made news and brought no important changes. The tragic situation hardly resulted in the kind of important adjustments and announcements you would expect from the public and private sectors. Public on security and employment; private on security, employment, lending, SMEs, skill development, etc.; but no, the answer is entertainment and more entertainment.
Since 1999, there is no bigger sector in Nigeria doing the most important desire of the Government of Nigeria than the entertainment industry. What everyone calls improved entertainment, sleek movie posters, cinema openings, good music videos, comedy shows, etc., are powerful distraction tools for Nigerians, benefiting the administrations of Obasanjo, Yar’Adua, Jonathan, and now Buhari (including governors, senators, reps, ambassadors, etc.).
But the entertainment industry, in spite of their opprobrious contents, are free of tenacious criticisms. The Church, not their witless contents, is a problem to some entertainers who are also on the anti-Church activism. Any positive news from the Church is always ignored. But whatever they believe is negative about the Church moves quickly. On entertainment, positive or negative anything distracts everyone from government’s infinite tomfoolery.
It takes a massive amount of entangled stupidity to believe the Church is the problem of Nigeria or that a General Overseer who said something has anything to do with what is important to Nigeria, or what we should be made concerned about. The Church is a cheap target, it is easy to find something to criticize and believe you are smart for it. NO, that is not what smartness is, not from a social media post or from one radio presenter so dense he has to rely on criticism of the church for fame.
If Nigeria will develop, Nigerians everywhere have to challenge themselves. There are so many problems requiring relentlessly spectacular thoughtfulness for solutions and progress in multiple ways. Not about bashing one Pastor who is passionate about what he believes and tells his friends.
In a town, there are many families, each head of the family has different rules, general and unique for how they want members to act and speak. Families always have different levels of discipline, some are lax, some are mild and some are strict. The authority and admonishing of the head of one family concerns them. The power starts and ends within them most of the time. There may be hypocrisy when the head is around, there may be disobedience and some children may be delinquent. Friends may have issues with the rules of the family, but if some self-proclaimed smart people in that town, a rural one, think the rules of one family, or message, or discipline, affects water, farming, electricity, safety, clinics, etc. for the entire town, or that those rules are important diversions rather than pursue progress, then a lot is wrong with their thinking.
Pastor Adeboye, RCCG Church and other true Churches of GOD in Nigeria are not problems to Nigeria and are not holding back your development; sorry, people!
  • [Video] Anyone not paying tithe won’t make heaven – Pastor Adeboye

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, [RCCG], Pastor Adeboye has warned that Christians defaulting payment of their tithes will not make heaven.

The revered pastor made the statement in a recent video; he said “Some of you quote Matthew 23:23 as your excuse not to pay tithe, saying Jesus said so. Really! Let’s see”

Adeboye read from the Bible: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.”

He said the Bible made stressed payment of tithe and not otherwise.

Daddy Freeze, Pastor Adelaja blasts Adeboye over ‘non-tithe payer’s won’t make heaven comment’

Meanwhile, in a swift reaction, On-Air Personality, Daddy Freeze, and Pastor Sunday Adelaja, founder and senior pastor of the Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations, have both condemned the Adeboye’s video [Sermon on thithing], which has since gone viral online.

Daddy Freeze shared it on his Instagram handle and once again stated his disappointment in the man of God. He also seized the opportunity to ask if the man of God in his right senses.

He shared the video with the caption: “Is this for real? If it is, are this man’s senses still in his custody? Is this how hard this tithing issue is biting them? Do I sense desperation? Philippians 3:19 New International Version; Their destiny is destruction, their god is their belly, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. His son came out the other day and said tithing has increased, does it look to you like it has? How dare he curse people with hell? Let me show him the Bible today and teach him that tithing is what ensures people of hell! Jesus said love your neighbor as yourself, yet they disobey Jesus by building schools their neighbors can’t attend, often with their neighbors contribution. How can you disobey Jesus and tell me to obey Malachi? Mark 12:31 NIV the second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these. Tithing is the law and teachers of the law are going to Hell according to the Bible read it! Christianity deserves an apology for this unscriptural doctrines and teaching. Let me tell you guys the real truth, tithing is an unprofitable venture because it is the LAW and it brings curses, especially when you don’t obey the entire law! FRZ #FreeTheSheeple.”

On the other side, Pastor Adelaja who took time to analyse Adeboye’s preaching in his own vlog asks what role the death of Jesus plays in Christendom if tithe is all that will ensure access to heave as posited by the RCCG revered leader.

Adelaja said, ” This is scandalous – it is an insult on the death and resurrection of Jesus and an assault on the gospel of Jesus Christ”

Pastor Adeboye warns Nigerians over dangers of ‘Facebook love’

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has once again warned against the practice of finding spouses on social media platforms.

He stressed that it is totally wrong for anyone to go into marriage relationship via the social media without finding out the background of would-be partners.

Adeboye recalled how in the past parents would inquire about prospective spouses before approving marriages for their children.

The cleric said he had pity for the youth whose parents were involved in evil as such evil often affected their spiritual and physical development.

He noted that elders of those days were uneducated but very rich in knowledge.

Adeboye gave spoke at the April 2018 Holy Ghost Service and Vigil of the Church at its prayer ground in Mowe, Ogun State, on Kilometre 45 of Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, which ended on Saturday.

“If you marry on Facebook, you cannot tell what will come,” he warned.

The monthly programme was attended by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo, as well as thousands of Christian faithful.

Adeboye had in 2017 warned members of his congregation not to engage in romantic relationship on social media.

He stated that such relationships might lead to broken homes.

“Let me tell you clearly, if you get a wife through the Facebook, you will lose her through the YouTube. You can quote me,” he had warned.

…prays for safe return of remaining girls in Boko Haram captivity

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has condemned those seeking marriage partners on social media networks, specifically Facebook.

The revered man of God who condemned marrying on social media without finding out the background of the would-be partners, recalled how in the past parents inquired about spouses before approving marriages for their children.

This formed part of his sermon at the April 2018 Holy Ghost Service and Vigil of the Church at its prayer ground in Mowe, Ogun, on Kilometre 45 of Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, which ended on Saturday.

The monthly programme was attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo, as well as thousands of Christian faithful.

“If you marry on facebook, you cannot tell what will come,” Adeboye said.

The clergy also prayed for the immediate release of all the female students still in Boko Haram captivity.

Pastor Adeboye expressed gladness for the return of no fewer than 105 students of the Federal Government Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe, abducted by the Boko Haram terrorists in February.

We thank God for the release of the girls and pray that all the girls yet to secure their freedom should be freed,’’ Adeboye prayed.

He also offered special prayers for those afflicted by all sorts of strange ailments and problems, especially for the barren so that by this time next year, they should be attending the Holy Ghost Service with their children.

The cleric said he had pity for the youth whose parents were involved in evil as such evil often affected their spiritual and physical development.

Quoting Bible verses, especially Ezekiel chapter 16, verse 44, and John 8, verse 44, Adeboye reminded the faithful that God visits the crimes of the father on the children.

According to him, if the children are to be blessed something should be done by their parents.

If the parents are of the Lord the Lord will continue to bless them and their children will not beg for food,’’ Adeboye stated

Resurrection: Jesus won greatest victory for Christians on Easter Sunday – Pst. Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has said that the greatest miracle happened on the day of Resurrection of Jesus.

“There is no greater victory ever other than that which Jesus won for us on Easter Sunday, resurrection morning.”

Adeboye said this during the Easter Service on Sunday April 1, 2018, adding, “The greatest miracle that God did was done on Easter morning… He rose Jesus (who had been to Hell to fight off the devil) from the dead!!!

According to him, if Jesus had not risen, our faith would have been in vain. What makes Christianity stand out is that Jesus is alive!!!

For everything, there is a time. Satan did his worst, but Jesus took away the keys of death and hell, and came out triumphant. Due to this we can now say “death, where is your sting?”

“There is only one grave that is empty…the grave of our Lord Jesus Christ!!!
To access the wonderful provisions and privileges you have in Christ our Lord, you must have a relationship with Him.

The Risen Christ is the reason for our witness. #HappyEaster to every Child of God around the world.

Dapchi: Adeboye asks God to set fire on Boko Haram’s over refusal to release Leah Sharibu

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has reacted to the refusal of Boko Haram terrorists to release Leah Sharibu, the only Christian girl among schoolgirls abducted from Government Science Technical College in Dapchi, Yobi State, who is refusing to abandon her faith.

Adeboye called on Jesus Christ to set every kidnapper across the country on “fire now”.

In a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, Adeboye also prayed for the safe return of Sharibu.

Adeboye wrote, “Lord, we ask that you visit the camp of the captors and in a way that You alone can, see to the safe release and return of the missing girl Leah Sharibu in Jesus name.

“But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

“Every kidnapper in this country by whatever name they are called, please set them on fire right now in the name of Jesus.”

Recall that Boko Haram had released some of the girls abducted from Dapchi but refused to release Sharibu for insisting that she would not convert to Islam.

  • Pst. Adeboye weeps in Benue says ‘No man of God will see mass burial and not feel pains’

The General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Friday condemned the mindless killings of people by Fulani herdsmen in Benue State and other parts of the country.

Adeboye, alongside his wife, Folu, made his feelings known when he visited Benue to condole with Governor Samuel Ortom and pray for the government and people of the state over the killings by suspected herdsmen.

The cleric called for a halt to the killings.

Speaking to the gathering, Pastor Adeboye said he did not visit the state before the President did so that politicians would not read meaning into his action.

He said Benue State was very dear to his heart and that he had felt every pain the people felt, saying he wept when he saw the people weeping.

“Of course, no man of God will see a mass burial anywhere and not feel the pains of the people affected.

“We want these killings to stop. Happily, we know someone who can stop it.

“He is the almighty God, He does not fail or compromise, He is the God of all.

“We will continue to call on Him to fight this battle and you can be assured that victory will be certain.”

Earlier, Governor Ortom had lamented that the incursions of herdsmen into the state, apart from leading to the deaths of many, had created a huge humanitarian crisis in the state.

He appealed to the church to sustain prayers for the government and people of the state, “given the enormous challenge the crisis posed to the wellbeing of the people of the state.”

  • Adeboye storms TBS for First Born Family 30th anniversary

Two weeks after the celebration of his 76th birthday, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye will on Sunday storm the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos for yet another celebration as the church’s First Born Family marks its 30th anniversary.
