    Ajegunle-born and bred singer, Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele, fondly called ‘Musical Taliban’ has declared his love and respect for the Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti.

     

    Recall that the Afro-pop singer took to his Twitter page saying all the shows held in December were not as “Loud” as his wedding ceremony.He was slammed and criticized over his outburst on social media.

     

    The ‘Double Wahala’ crooner however reacted to the criticisms yesterday night as he performed at One Lagos Fiesta, Agege .The crooner re-emphasized his stance saying: “Fela is the only one I respect, others should go and sleep”.

    Recall that the Orente crooner has held two successful editions of the event in the 02 Academy, London and Button Factory in Dublin.

     

    Before now Adekunle Gold’s alleged love affair with songstress, Simi has always been a subject of discussion in entertainment circles.

     

    The chemistry between these two talented singers came alive when they mounted the stage to perform their duet, ‘No forget’ at the highly entertaining concert.The crowd screamed in ecstasy, as the duo showed love to each other on stage.

    Afro-fusion singer, Adekunle Gold has revealed that ladies might just remove their bras at his show. Adelunle made this known when asked about what fans should expect at his show tagged One Night Stand With Adekunle Gold.

     

    According to him: ““I tagged my show, One Night Stand with Adekunle Gold and the 79th Element. I know that when a person hears ‘ One night stand’, the next thing that comes to mind is intimacy. The truth is that there would be so many girls at my show. I would be playing love songs that would put people in the mood and don’t be surprised when the ladies start removing their bras,” he told Punch.

     

     

    Adekunle Gold who jokingly asked the newly married Adesua to be his girlfriend before getting engaged to Banky W, revealed why he asked her out.

    “People do not know if Adesua is just my friend. They wouldn’t know if my tweet was just banter or if it was real. I guess a lot of people thought it was real and I was asking Adesua out online. Why would I do that? We were just joking and she is my friend. I even tweeted when she got engaged that I’d not even got the 50, 000 retweets she asked for and she was already engaged. It was just banter but I guess people see what they want to see. Adesua and I never dated; we were/are just friends”.

  • Adekunle Gold causes stir with performance in church

     

    Orente crooner,Adekunle Gold has taken his music from the secular audience to the church. The Afro-fusion made a guest appearance at the Christmas Carol organized by urban church This Present House. The concert also featured artistes like Omawunmi, Waje, Mike Abdul and others.

     

    The singer mounted the stage saying:” I started from the church, now I am back”.

    He performed songs like Pick Up and My Life, relating the message of the song to his Christian audience.

     

    However his performance has sparked a myriad of reactions on social media. While some people lauded his performance, others simply condemned the church for inviting him in the first place.

    Following the incessant complaints made by female fans who attended Phyno’s concert over being raped and sexually assaulted, Adekunle Gold has called on his male fans not to be animals.

    He noted that Nigerian women should be able to attend a concert without their breasts being fondled or bum pressed.

    Adekunle took to his Instagram page to make the statement:”Nigerian women should be able to attend a concert anywhere without their breasts being fondled and their bum slapped or pressed.Nigerian men must do better”

    Urban highlife singer, Adekunle Gold releases his latest single ‘Money’; a masterpiece off his highly anticipated album ‘About 30’ recorded live with the 79th Element.

     

    Produced by Pheelz, Money is an urban highlife song that speaks volumes about the realities of being without money.
