    Newly wedded actress, Adesua Etomi Wellington has revealed her plans for the coming year.

    The beautiful wife of RnB crooner, Banky W, who also featured in the blockbuster movie, The Wedding Party 2 said: “In 2018 you should expect a lot from Adesua. A lot of big things, good things, amazing things coming up next year.”

     

    When asked about her labour room experience in The Wedding Party 2, she said: “I haven’t had a child before, but I had the opportunity to be around people that are pregnant and I did a bit of research too in order to interpret my role well. I had a load on my shoulder trying to portray that role effectively.

     

    Those who have had babies before would know if I wasn’t getting it right, so I had to pull on the experience I have been around people that have been pregnant” she said.

  • Adesua Etomi turns financial advisor

    Nollywood actress and singer , Adesua Etomi recently shared some money management tips with her fans on Twitter. The award winning role interpreter counseled her fans not to buy things on credit and cultivate a savings culture. She called the financial principles her spending rules.

    Hear her: “Save before you spend. Don’t spend money on more ‘wants’ than ‘needs’. Don’t spend money that hasn’t hit your account yet. Don’t buy things on credit’

    Don’t buy things to impress anyone, it’s foolish”.

     

    The first class graduate of the University of Wolverhampton recently had a meeting with the governor of Edo State, lauding his administration for the great work they do caring for the less privileged, empowering women, and maintaining order in the state.

     

    Adesua is set to have a busy year end as she prepares for her wedding to singer Banky W, as well as the premiere of The Wedding Party 2.

  • Adesua Etomi visits Obaseki, applauds accomplishments

    Svelte Nollywood star, Adesua Etomi on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, at the Government House in Benin City.

     

    The award winning role interpreter, who hails from Edo State, commended the Obaseki-led administration for the giant strides it has made in empowering women and caring for the less-privileged in the society as well as providing critical infrastructure and enthroning law and order in the state.

     

     

    Etomi noted that her visit was to show her support for Governor Obaseki and his team that are gradually transforming the state without making noise about it.

     

    Tolulope Adesuwa Etomi was born in Owerri, Imo State on February 22. She attended Corona School in Victoria Island, Lagos, where she joined the drama club at age 7.

    Etomi moved to the United Kingdom when she was 13 years old, and later obtained a diploma in “physical theatre, musical theatre and performing arts” from City College Coventry in 2004. After completing these courses in 2006 with triple distinctions, she studied drama and performance at the University of Wolverhampton, graduating with first-class honours.

    Etomi attributed her swift rise in Nollywood to prayer and divine connections. She said her original plan was to stay in Nigeria for three months and head back to the UK.

    “ I didn’t come here thinking I am going to meet this person and meet that person, my strategy was prayer and divine connections.     In her response, Adesua said she makes her own money and bagged herself a good man instead
