    2023 Polls: Tinubu defeats Atiku, Obi at Polling unit

    The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has won his polling unit at Alausa Ikeja with 33 votes.

    The result was made known at the end of voting at exactly 2:45pm by the electoral officer attached to the polling unit.

    APC however led in all other polls in both senatorial and House of Representatives with a total of 324 registered votes and 43 accredited voters.

    Labour scored 8 votes while Peoples Democratic Party PDP and Young People’s Party, scored 1 each in the presidential poll.

    For Senatorial, APC scored 36, Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, 2, PDP, 4 and Action Democratic Congress, ADC, 1.

    For the House of Representatives, APC scored 31, PDP, 2, LP,9 and Social Democratic Party, SDP, 1.

    2023 Elections: I’m confident of victory – Tinubu

    The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has reiterated that he’s very confident of coming out victorious at the presidential polls.

    The APC presidential candidate cast his vote at Alausa, Ikeja Lagos state.

    Tinubu stormed the Alausa Polling Unit alongside his wife Oluremi Tinubu to cast his vote.

    Addressing journalists, he said “democracy is here to stay” in Nigeria and that he is “too confident of victory”.

    He said the voting process is “going smoothly” and “going well”.Asked

    On the Issue of high turn out he said  “This is expected, we need a good turnout and that is the adoption and the commitment to democracy and the democratic process must take place.”

    Asked how certain of victory he is, Tinubu said, “I’m too certain.”

    Jagaban as he’s fondly called left the Alausa  polling unit and headed to Bourdillon his base in Lagos state  with his convoy.
