The partnership will focus on providing advice in sporting and other areas of sports development, with an emphasis on coach training and developing young Nigerian players.

“We have 20 clubs in the Nigerian Premier League, and each has its own youth academy. I know the history and track record of Sevilla FC,” Elegbeleye stated during his visit.

“This is a very successful club that has won numerous trophies in Spain and Europe over many years. With their development strategy and youth development program, Nigeria can greatly benefit.

“We believe that the top players from the Nigeria Youth League will be able to come here every season to train. With your help and training, they can return as better players.
