    According to Daily Mail, speaking in an interview, The Rock said the transformation is still a work in progress, but joked that part of it means “eating less chicken.”

    How I battled brain bleed, stroke – Jamie Foxx opens up

    American actor and singer, Jamie Foxx has opened up on his health battle, one that landed him in a hospital last year.

    Foxx, 56, in a new Netflix special, disclosed that he had a brain bleed that led to a stroke.

    According to actor cum musician, he blacked out after requesting for an aspirin due to a throbbing headache.

    Recall, the actor’s daughter Corinne at the time, said he had “experienced a medical complication”.

    The Oscar-winning actor said he was later admitted to the Piedmont Hospital, where doctors revealed he suffered a brain bleed that had led to a stroke.

    “It is a mystery. We still do not know exactly what happened to me,” he said.

    “April 11, I was having a bad headache and I asked my boy for an aspirin. And I realised quickly that when you are in a medical emergency, your boys do not know what the f**k to do.

    “Before I could get the aspirin I went out. I do not remember 20 days.”

    Foxx added that when he eventually woke from the coma, he found himself in a wheelchair and unable to walk.

    The singer said  doctors, after the operation said he might make a full recovery “but it’s going to be the worst year of his life”.

    Foxx said his family kept him out of the public eye because he was “so dizzy”. He said his daughter was concerned that people would turn him into an internet meme if they saw his condition.

    The actor’s wife, Wendy Mull, confirmed the demise on Friday in a statement, stating that her husband died after a long illness.

    The actor’s daughter, TV writer and comic artiste, Maggie Mull, also confirmed his passing via Instagram.

    She wrote, “My dad will be deeply missed by his wife and daughter, by his friends and coworkers, by fellow artists and comedians and musicians, and —the sign of a truly exceptional person— by many, many dogs.”

    Martin Mull’s co-star in the series ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch,’ Melissa Joan Hart while paying tribute to him on Instagram, described him as “a wonderful man who I am better for knowing.”

    Mull gained widespread attention in the 1970s in shows such as ‘Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman’ and ‘Fernwood 2-Night,’ and remained active in television and film over the next half-century.

    Famous American actor Matthew Perry dies at 54

    Matthew Perry, one of the stars of smash hit TV sitcom “Friends,” was found dead at his home Saturday, US media reported. He was 54.

    First responders found Perry unconscious in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home and were unable to revive him, law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times.

    The LA Times and TMZ, which first reported the news, both said there were no signs of foul play, citing anonymous sources.

    Perry was best known for his portrayal of the wise-cracking Chandler Bing on NBC’s wildly popular “Friends,” which ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004.

    Perry had battled for years with addiction to painkillers and alcohol, and attended rehabilitation clinics on multiple occasions.

    In his memoir “Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing,” published last year, Perry described going through detox 65 times, spending some $9 million in attempts to get sober.

    Perry experienced health problems including a burst colon in 2018 due to his drug usage, which required a seven-hour surgery and the use of a colostomy bag for months after.

    Perry dedicated the book to “all of the sufferers out there,” and wrote in the prologue: “I should be dead.”

    TMZ reported that no drugs were found at the scene on Saturday. It said Perry was found by his assistant, who called 911.

    Perry was born in Massachusetts to Canadian and American parents, and was raised in Canada before moving to Los Angeles.

    As well as “Friends,” Perry appeared in movies such as “Fools Rush In” and “The Whole Nine Yards.”

    “Friends” followed the lives of six New Yorkers navigating dating, careers and friendship.

    Perry and his co-stars — Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer — negotiated $1 million each per episode by the end of their colossally popular and zeitgeist-setting 236-episode, 10-year run.

    In a sign of the show’s enduring appeal, the gang reportedly pocketed $2.5 million each for a reunion episode in 2021.

    During that episode, Perry’s slurred speech prompted concern among fans.

    Perry also surprised his co-stars by admitting to having suffered severe anxiety “every night” during filming.

    Perry’s representatives did not immediately respond to AFP’s request for comment.

    American actor, Lance Reddick, famous for his roles in “The Wire” and the John Wick franchise, has passed away at 60 due to natural causes at his home in Los Angeles.

    The death of Lance Reddick struck many by surprise and has since left the internet space with memories and tribute to the actor.

    The Wire creator David Simon released a statement to the Hollywood Reporter to express his grief.

    “A consummate professional, a devoted collaborator, a lovely soul and a friend. This is just gutting and way, way, way too soon for any of us who knew and loved him to contemplate,” he wrote.

    In a tweet, Wendell Pierce, Reddick’s co-star in the show paid tribute.

    “A man of great strength and grace. As talented a musician as he was an actor. The epitome of class. A sudden unexpected sharp painful grief for our artistic family. An unimaginable suffering for his personal family and loved ones. Godspeed my friend. You made your mark here. RIP,” he wrote.

    Reddick’s acting credits also include the sci-fi series Fringe and the action thriller White House Down. He was recently doing interviews for his role in the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4 but chose not to attend the film’s New York premiere earlier this week.

    His most notable role was playing Baltimore police lieutenant Cedric Daniels in HBO’s crime drama The Wire, which had a predominantly black cast, making it a rare and extraordinary experience for Reddick.

    Nick shared a photo of him in a hospital bed, stating that it was just pneumonia and something he can handle.

    Nick Cannon has been open about his struggle with lupus over the last 10 years. In 2012, he was hospitalized for kidney failure and then blood clots in his lungs, which led to him learning about his autoimmune disease diagnosis.

    He told People at the time that his kidney condition is “something I’m going to be living with all my life.” As he said back then, “I feel blessed to be alive.”

    According to law enforcement reports, the actor died of suspected heroin overdose in his Brooklyn penthouse, as there was no indication of foul play, “no forced entry, and the apartment was in order.”

    The 30-year-old actor who played Tyler Crowley in Twilight and his girlfriend were pronounced dead on May 13.

    Prior to his death, Gregory was “really focused and handling a lot of business”, according to a source. And though he had moved to Las Vegas to help his mother, the insider reveals Gregory “would commute to LA for acting jobs and to see his daughter.”

    Gregory is survived by his 10-year-old daughter Alaya.

    As for his girlfriend, she leaves behind her baby boy Egypt, her father, two brothers and one sister, and a host of family and friends.

    American actor, Cuba Gooding Jr. is putting an end to his 22year old marriage to Sara Kapfer.

    According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the actor is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their 10-year-old daughter. He’s also willing to give spousal support to Sara.

    The legal move comes after Sara filed for legal separation from her husband back in August of 2014.

    According to court docs, Cuba’s wife stated that the couple married on March 13, 1994, but legally separated on April 16, 2014.
