    ‘He’s neither an angel and certainly not a demon’, Fani-Kayode says of Buhari hours after joining APC

    Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Thursday said his stance on the person of President Muhammadu Buhari and administration in the past was wrong.

    The politician attributed his actions in the past to the fact that he did not know the President so well at the time.

    “It is absolutely clear to me that the perception that we had in the past, that many people had, is clearly wrong,” he said. “We can work together, we can come together, we can build bridges, we can effect unity in this country.

    “A man that I believe would not listen to anybody else in the past, I was quite wrong on that. With his receptive ears, his reception, and those around him; I have seen that definitely this is a man that one can work with provided you go through the right channels.”

    The former minister spoke on a monitored Channels Television programme hours after he met with President Buhari where he was formally introduced as the newest member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

    TheNewsGuru.com, TNG reports that Fani-Kayode was led to the meeting with the President on Thursday by the APC National Caretaker Committee Chairman and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, as well as Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State.

    Fani-Kayode, a former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and strong critic of the President, explained his decision to return to the ruling party.

    According to him, he criticised the President in the past and done that effectively when he felt it was appropriate to do so.

    “However, having moved closer to him (Buhari) over the last few months, I have discovered a lot of things that I did not know before; there is a lot going on behind the scenes,” the former PDP chieftain said.

    “The most important thing is this – if I believe in a certain philosophy or I believe that we should move in a certain direction, and I am getting positive responses when I act from within the family as it were, and do so behind closed doors and ensure that change is effected in terms of policy, the way in which the country is run, the way in which disputes are settled among our various people and in terms of war against terror, and I get positive results on the consequence of my personal contributions at various levels; then I have to respect that.

    “Over the last few years, I spoke against him (Buhari) probably more than anybody else in this country. I am not saying Mr President is an angel and I am certainly not saying he is a demon; I am saying he is a man like every other man.”

    Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Angel, has stated that she’s happy that Liquorose is having a rift with Emmanuel.

    She said this on Thursday, day 54 of the show, during her Diary Session with Big Brother.

    It is germane to note that Liquorose’s ‘fight’ with Emmanuel is a prank by Biggie, who said she should avoid Emmanuel to win BB tokens.

    In order to get her prize, Liquorose must act like she’s in a squabble with Emmanuel till her next Diary Session.

    Emmanuel and other housemates, however, are unaware of the prank and for Angel, Liquorose has finally ‘shone her eyes.’

    Angel said, “I believe that maybe she has found out that he is a flirt. Whatever he’s doing isn’t genuine.

    “I speak from experience because this Emmanuel guy is a bad boy. He’s the baddest boy in this house.”

    She went to say that Emmanuel has been flirting with her and that’s why she’s happy that Liquorose has finally discovered that Emmanuel was a flirt.

    Angel enthusiastically said, “All these thing are playing out because she has found out that he’s a flirt and he’s flirting.

    “I like gist. I like controversy, so this is very exciting for me. I’m happy for my good sis and I’m happy that her eyes have opened.

    “Even if it’s a little too late because it’s in the eighth week and it’s just like a fortnight left, I’m happy for her.

    “I don’t know if that’s what it is but I’m hoping that’s what it is because we need to put our eyes on that guy. He’s dangerous.”

    Angel during a conversation with Cross, told him that Emmanuel and Liquorose have made love in the house.

    According to her, Sammie was convinced about this when he told her and JMK.

    Angel said: “Sammie told me before he was evicted that Emmanuel has had sex with Liquorose.

    “But Liquorose said she wouldn’t have sex in the house.

    “After she said that I and JMK asked Sammie again and he insisted that Emmanuel and Liquorose had sex.”

    Cross was surprised to hear that, stating that he thought Emmanuel was a gentleman.

    Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 6 love interests, Angel and Cross have probably had enough of each other.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports both housemates on Tuesday night had an intense conversation defining their relationship in the house.

    Angel specifically told Cross not to touch her anymore in the house, clarifying that they are just best friends.

    “You have so many women in your life. There is Queen, Nini, Saskay, keep your hand to yourself, don’t touch me because best friends don’t touch each other in that regard, that’s not my definition of best friend,” Angel said.

    Meanwhile, responding, Cross said he got the wrong signals from Angel as he thought they could engage each other as best friends.

    However, he agreed to stop touching her and just remain best of friends.

    “If that’s what you want, then that’s fine. I can keep my hands to myself. I have been getting the wrong memo, we’ve been having different line of thoughts.

    “You know I find you romantic, attractive and best friend is the only way around it for now in this house until we eventually leave here and see how you are outside,” Cross opined.

    They both agreed to be just friends as they sealed the deal with their last passionate kiss.

    Angel also joined Cross on his bed as they spent the night together.

    Big Brother Naija, BBNaija season 6 housemate, Angel has said that being in Big Brother’s house is exhausting.

    Angel made this known after being nominated for possible eviction this week.

    Speaking with Saskay, Angel said she’s still depressed and fears what life has to offer her outside the show.

    Angel said: “I have to keep entertaining people, talking to people when you don’t want to.

    “I miss being in an environment when I’m not competing with anyone. I’ve been second guessing myself continuously.

    “It’s becoming exhausting. I’m grateful to be here but I thought coming here will take away my depression but there’s a nut in my chest.

    “I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m still depressed and anxious. I don’t know what life is preparing me for but I’ll have to face people outside the house.”

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Liquorose, one of the housemates had said she was depressed before Big Brother. “I was depressed for four months before Big Brother.

    “I went for audition and someone said to me ‘Rose, dance is not meant for you’ then I stopped going for auditions and was depressed for four months before Big Brother.”

    Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Angel, stunned many when she showed off her private parts to Queen and Whitemoney in the early hours of Monday.

    Her act has sparked different reactions on social media.

    When Angel raised up her clothes to reveal her private part, an astonished Queen said, ” Close your ‘this thing’ Angel. Why are you opening it for everybody to see?”

    Whitemoney said, “Angel is a marketer. She’s doing her duty.”

    Angel did not listen to their talk as she kept on pulling up her shirt and smiling. She then said, “Did you see anybody here?”

    Following her exhibition, fans have taken to twitter to express their opinions on Angel’s recent behaviour. While some applauded her, others rebuked her.

    A fan, @ifechican, said, “You guys coming for Angel. ‘He/She who is without sin let him/her cast the first stone’.”

    @Lytskinnedgirl said, “I just logged in to see Angel’s vagina everywhere. I just have to ask, is Angel okay? I understand that she doesn’t wear a bra because she is comfortable in her skin, but what explanation do you give for her showing the world her private part? How do you defend that act?”

    Going down memory lane, @Teshap05 recalled ex-housemates from the previous season, ” The crazy thing about Angel’s fans is that, majority of them massively attacked Nengi and Erica last season! Including slut-shaming them! But this season, the same actions have been termed ‘real her’ and content. The hypocrisy stinks!”

    Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Angel, has said that she can make Pere in love with her.

    She said this while discussing with Pere and Liquorose in the early hours of Saturday, day 49 of the show, after the Jacuzzi Party.

    Angel said the housemates were trying to stop Yousef – whom she spent much time with at the party – from falling for her.

    Liquorose, however, made a suggestion that Angel should go for Pere and leave Yousef alone.

    “We don’t want premium tears. Angel, please don’t. Not Yousef, you can use Pere. Take Pere with your full chest,” Liquorose said.

    “Actually, I won’t fall,” came Pere’s response.

    Liquorose responded, “You won’t fall? You guys are the ones that mess up. You have started boasting from the beginning.”

    Pere said that Maria is the only girl he has loved and he doesn’t regret it.

    Angel said, “Pere, let me tell you something, if I want you to fall in love with me, you will.”

    “I swear, it’s very easy. It’s easy, like real quick,” Liquorose agreed.

    Pere explained, “Maria didn’t get me with her beauty. She didn’t get me with her beauty. As a matter of fact, I knew she was beautiful but that wasn’t it. Maria got me with her personality.”

    “It’s not by beauty o Pere, if I want you to fall for me, you will fall,” Angel retorted.

    Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Angel, has asked Big Brother to trick the housemates because the house had been uninteresting.

    She made this known in a Diary Session on Friday, day 48 of the show, where Big Brother asked how her week went in the house.

    Angel said, “The house has been boring so all I’ve been doing is sleeping, doing tasks, going back to sleep, talking to my fish and that’s it.

    “The house is boring. We need something to shake up the house. Nothing is happening in the house and I’m bored. I’m lonely because it’s boring. Everything is boring.”

    She then gave Biggy some suggestions on how to “shake up the house”.

    Angel said, “This house is dry. I think you should prank us or give somebody a secret task. I don’t know but I’m just suggesting.

    Meanwhile, Big Brother asked Angel to tell him which housemate will have her back when the need arises.

    She said, “I don’t think anybody would have my back. I’m not saying that because I’m being petty. I’m saying that because I genuinely did not recognize when someone genuinely likes me.

    “I cannot tell because someone can genuinely like me and it’ll be obvious but I wouldn’t be able to see it. So I think that comes from my end because I don’t feel likable.”

    Angel made this known on Wednesday while having a discussion with Jackie B, Nini and Queen about male housemates they find good-looking.

    According to her, she loves gisting and laughing while making love and Cross is that kind of guy.

    Angel said: “I see myself having sex with Cross outside the house because I like to laugh, gist when having sex and Cross is that playful.

    “Cross is one of the male housemates on my top four that I find attractive.”

    Cross seems to be one of the male housemates of ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season who has stolen the heart of most female housemates.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that in an interview, Cross’ sister had said female housemates’ love for him won’t affect his game.

    His immediate younger sister, Adaobi Okonkwo said: “He hasn’t wooed all the women in that house, and I believe that is what a womaniser would have done. Everybody likes him. If he is liked by all the ladies and the guys; that shows he has a likeable personality. If he likes more than one girl, it is normal. Even as much as he says he likes one female or the other, he channels his energy into the right things. Being liked by many girls or him liking many women would not affect his game. I don’t think that will make him lose out.”
