    Angela Okorie reveals why Zubby Michael won’t mourn Junior Pope

    Popular Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has reacted after social media users dragged her colleague, Zubby Michaels for not mourning Jnr Pope.

    She weighed in on the controversy trailing Zubby Michael, revealing why he cannot dare to publicly mourn the loss of his senior colleague.

    Addressing the outrage, Angela Okorie alleged that the actor has always competed with others in the industry, sabotaging relationships in his quest to be the best.

    She added that Zubby Michael was never close to or even on the same level as the late actor but never respected the hierarchy in the movie industry.

    She made this known in the comment section of a blog post, stating;

    “Dem no born am well to post Junior pop, he knows why he is running, nollywood knows his story with Junior pop, Nigga be fighting every1 cos he wanna be number 1 of nollywood, mind you Junior pop na zubby Oga,” she wrote.

    Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, has lamented over a video shared online of how the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) of some citizens was trashed in a bin.

    The 2023 elections are just around the corner but sadly, a lot of people are yet to receive their PVCs. A video has popped up online revealing why a lot of people are yet to receive their PVCs.

    In the video, it could be seen that thousands of PVCs of people were dumped in the refuse by an unknown person. According to the man in the video, there were reports that some persons planned to discard the PVCs of people from the South Eastern part of Nigeria.

    Sharing the video on her page, Angela captioned it:

    The news was broken by her friend and colleague, Zicsaloma who shared a video of the brand-new car on his Instagram page.

    This comes weeks after she was accused of being one of the two influencers to have been caught allegedly having an affair with senator Dino Melaye.

    She stormed ZicSaloma’s residence in her new whip and her colleague marvelled at the luxury ride.

    He recorded the interior of the car with the car seats still sporting their brand-new leather.

    Meanwhile, a famous Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, has advised budding actresses who purchase houses within a short stay in the industry to stop lying about their source of incoming.

    The thespian said this while speaking in a recent interview.

    According to her some movie starlets who have not been in the industry for a year would purchase a house and claim it was their acting job that gave them the cash.

    Okorie said that these up-and-coming female acts lie about where they get money because one who has been acting for a long time cannot spend or make such a purchase.

    She wondered how it could be possible that a budding actress who has appeared in five movies would miraculously be rich enough to buy an exotic house whereas those who had made over 200 movies can’t afford to do so.

    She advised such ladies to reveal their source of income rather than pinning it solely on acting.

    Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has recounted her near-death experience of two years ago.

    In December 2019, the actress said she was attacked by “assassins who left ten bullets in my head”.

    On Tuesday, the movie star shared pictures and videos on Instagram, in which she stated that she still had pellets coming out of her skull.

    Okorie also vowed never to forgive her industry rivals who, she alleged, plotted her death and connived with blogs to put out deceptive information about her.

    “Can you imagine after 2 years plus I was shot, some pellets still coming out. All dem bloggers plotted with them to write me off on social media so people won’t believe there are evil people in the industry,” she wrote in Pidgin.

    “Out of envy, they did this. I have put too much into my career. God knows it’s time for me to reap what I worked for. I will never forgive you all paid to do that.

    “Dem say rewrite the story make e be like say she and person dey quarrel just to accomplish their evil plans.

    “They were waiting to write RIP the next day. See You can never rewrite what God wrote over my life. One by one e must reach all of una. Lucifer is a human being. I had to avoid every unfriendly friend patronizing evil people.

    “Beware of demons in sheep clothing. I am grace, I am that God’s special child. The anointed one with proof that if God is b4 you no one can be against you.”

    Nollywood actress and singer, Angela Okorie may be glamorous and controversial, but the multi talented entertainer still has a place for God in her heart. The role interpreter who goes live on her instagram page on Sundays has averred that her fans suggested for her to start a church as a result of her Instagram live ‘services’.

    Speaking in a recent Instagram live interview, Okorie said:” I have a lot of reasons to worship God; it’s only a fool that says there is no God. At some point fans wanted me to start a church, they said they got a place for me, but God didn’t ask me to start a church. My covenant with God is to win souls in any way I can.My 3.5 million followers should not be wasting; it has to be used for something. I do music and interpret roles, but I cannot be doing only church movies. My songs are more inspirational, more of what happens in the world”.

    Okorie also lamented over her character being assassinated, adding that she has died over ten times.

    “I have died over ten times. They have assassinated my character a whole lot of times. That is why I am not scared about whatsoever is written about me.Fame comes with envy and a lot of things. It depends on how you are able to manage it.When I was shot last year, they said I snatched someone’s husband but they didn’t know I was shot.So why didn’t they reach out to find out why I was shot and what really happened.12 bullets were removed from my head.You cannot assassinate my character. You are not God, you didn’t create me.I have worked hard to get to where I am.You don’t judge a book by it’s cover”.

     

    Asked if she considers herself as being controversial, she said: ”When you look at me, I am controversial naturally. I say my mind and it attracts a lot of things because people don’t want you to tell them the truth.They just want you to keep living a lie and I am not going to live a lie for anyone”.

    Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has tied the knot with her fiance, Desmond, in a private beach wedding ceremony.

    An excited Okorie was filled with delight as she showered praises on her hubby, Desmond.

    A native of Ishiagu-Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Angela was born and raised in Cotonou, the capital of Benin Republic. She attended the Lagos State University to study public administration before moving to the University of Lagos for a degree in theatre art.

     

    Before joining Nollywood in 2009, she modelled for Orange Drugs’ Delta Soap in an arrangement that lasted for 10 years.

    Okorie was once married to Chukwuma Orizu and their union is blessed with a boy.

    Sensational actress, Angela Okorie has stated that the coronavirus endemic is a sign of the end time.

    The outspoken actress noted that the pandemic presently ravaging the world is a sign of the end time.

    According to reports, Okorie was coming back from an event on the 12th of December when the sad incident took place.

    Her car was riddled with bullets and gunshots were fired at her.

    Popular media personality, Stella Dimoko Korkus said:”14 bullet pellets were removed from Actress Angela OKorie’s hair and she suffered a little injury to her shoulder …I think the bullet pellets were blocked from penetrating her head by a wig she had on. … she has left hospital and is in shock.     Popular actress, Angela Okorie is not in the best state of mind at the moment. The lanky role interpreter has revealed that she can no longer sleep at night without the aid of sleeping pills after she was attacked by assassins a few months ago.

    A distraught Angela took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, February 3, 2020, where she shared a video of herself crying and expressing all that she has been going through since she narrowly escaped death. According to her, taking drugs and injections have become part of her lifestyle.

    It is no longer news that outspoken actress, Angela Okorie was involved in an armed robbery where she claimed to have been shot 10 times.

    Since her revelation, Okorie has been bashed in some quarters by Nigerians who felt she fabricated the incident.

    The light skinned actress took to her Instagram page on Monday night (17th of December), releasing a video where she was captured being treated by nurses after the incident had occurred.

    Nollywood actress and singer, Angela Okorie, has recounted how 10 bullets were removed from her “head,” while an additional two were also taken out from near her eyes.

    Okorie used her verified Instagram handle realangelaokorie to relate how she was repeatedly shot at, at an unstated venue or date.

    “The assassins kept on shooting for 30 minutes, No help from anywhere, No human came for our rescue. Only God came for our Rescue,” the singer wrote on her Instagram wall on Sunday afternoon.

    The singer did not disclose the people she was with at the time of the incident in any of the two posts she had made so far about it.

    Earlier, Ms. Okorie had written: “Whoever that wants me dead Will die my death In Jesus Name Amen.”

    And on Sunday, she had uploaded a video of what appears to be an x-ray of a skull on her Instagram page.
