Forgive not the APC, pardon not the opposition – By Owei Lakemfa

The bazaar  of  partisan politics is in open swing. The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC,  which has been attracting opposition politicians to itself like magnet, held its National Summit  on May 22, 2025 inside the Aso Rock Presidential Palace.

The venue is symbolic of the President’s powers and could not  be a conducive atmosphere for free debates that should attend a political party summit.

The main resolution, which was doubtlessly why the summit held, is the APC declaring “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Sole Presidential Candidate of the APC.” The haste to consecrate the President is  indecent and an assault to  probity and democracy.

First, the President had not even gotten half way to  his  four-year tenure. Short of clairvoyance, how did the party assess the Tinubu  administration’s future performance? I know in the past, pools betting was popular in Nigeria; so, is the APC returning the country to some gambling tradition?

Secondly, the party by its decision, closed the door to all other possible contestants. What type of democracy is that? Thirdly, what is the message? That Tinubu is the alpha and omega of the APC and is therefore not only infallible, but also unchallengeable?

As I scanned the summit, the participants appeared more like shareholders of a privately quoted company waiting for company souvenirs like umbrellas, tea mugs and brooms to be shared before breaking for a promised lunch.

But let me be fair to the APC as it has displayed far more gumption than its great Chairman Abdulahi Ganduje who, with a  mischievous smile playing around his lips, had declared ahead of the summit that there is no vacancy in Aso Rock come 2027 when the country goes for constitutional general elections.

In a sane polity, such treasonable utterance should have resulted in Ganduje resigning and being hurled before the courts. But not in Nigeria where bottles of champaign might have been popped open to celebrate such inanity.

By the way, did the APC pay for the use of the Presidential Palace? If it did, can the Presidency please show Nigerians the receipt? If it did not, then for a  level playing  field, the place should be left open for other political parties that want to follow the APC footsteps in holding their party summits.

Also, another thought crept  into my mind. When the APC endorsed Tinubu as its 2027 presidential candidate, I didn’t hear it mentioned that  Vice President Kashim Shetima  is also getting an automatic ticket. Perhaps the consecrated Tinubu would have the freedom to appoint his running mate.

Doubtlessly, we are not in  a healthy democratic state.  But the solution does not lie in any of the main political parties.   They all are complicit in the sorry state we find ourselves. They are all represented in the   National Assembly where it is ‘yes’ to  the President’s  desires.

Although we can reach a consensus that the vegetative eight years of President Muhammadu Buhari were an unmitigated disaster   compounded by the   poverty-inducing policies of the Tinubu administration, we must not forget that the foundations of our socio-economic crises and state of insecurity were partly laid by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.   The bulk of the opposition politicians today were or are in the PDP.

The fact is that the biggest and best investment in Nigeria is government. So, most politicians outside government are like orphans. Therefore, they  are fighting  tenaciously to unseat the Tinubu administration. For this, they are employing  all sorts of subterfuge, including injecting vegetative political parties with steroids to revive them for coalition politics.

A few weeks ago, self-acclaimed opposition   politicians met and one of   their main spokesperson   was Senator Ishaku Elisha   Abbo who had been shown the way out of the Senate in disgraceful circumstances. It was the usual verbiage: Tinubu is running a “government by exclusion and economic insensitivity”, and, of course, the ethnic card: that he is “neglecting the North”.

Then, there is the other major opposition party, the Labour Party, LP. The party  is of good parentage. I know this because I was one of its midwives. But unfortunately, it has always been used and dumped, UAD. In the past 20 years, the LP has been the refuge of politicians who could not secure the ticket of their parent, or preferred parties. Admittedly this has not been for free.

Today, the LP has three persons claiming to be legally married to it.   Doubtlessly, the strongest is His Excellency Peter Obi who rode it through the 2023 presidential election. He has not expressed any long term interest in it as he is busy registering his Obedient members which would serve him in good stead in case he needs to move out or consolidate his grip.

Whatever the case, the  likeable Obi’s primary ambition is to be a presidential candidate in the  2027 presidential election. It is a personal ambition. He personally explained this  in an address to his young supporters in the last week of May, 2025. He said: “I believe we should have a retirement age for politicians. By 2027, I will be 65. If the presidency goes back to the North in 2031, it may not return to the South until 2039 — by then, I will be 77. I wouldn’t want to run for office at that age. It would make a mess of everything.” So, for him to realise his ambition to be President of Nigeria, he must be a candidate, and win.

The ideology,   principles and policies of His Excellency are not different either from that of President Tinubu nor the PDP from which he had broken to pick the LP ticket. The only thing he offers that is different from other  politicians is style and a verbal promise to be prudent in the use of resources.

As Nigerians, we have no business fighting ourselves over which of the mainstream politicians should lord it over us in 2027. It is not our duty to carry out propaganda on their behalf or chorus their singsong. We should learn from the history of slavery, especially in the Americas; that it   is unwise to debate which slave master is better or treats his slaves better. We should simply work to throw away our shackles and embrace freedom.

Even if it is not possible for us to build a peoples’ party that can change the course of our history in 2027; we should at least be able to build a consensus on our irreducible minimum demands of any party or anybody that wants to rule.

It is clear that what we had on October 1, 1960, when the British colonialists symbolically  left, was some political independence.

We need another independence movement. If you agree, please contact me.

Former Ebonyi Speaker dumps PDP for APC

Former Ebonyi House of Assembly Speaker, Chukwuma Nwazunku, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress (APC).

Nwazunku, the immediate past Member representing Ebonyi/ Ohaukwu Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives defected on Saturday at Ugwuachara during the APC meeting in Echiaba Ward of Ebonyi Local Government Area (LGA).

The APC chairman in Ebonyi, Chief Stanley Okoro-Emegha, who received Nwazunku alongside several of his supporters, congratulated them for the decision, which he described as courageous and strategic.

Okoro-Emegha, represented by the APC chairman in Ebonyi LGA, Chief Patrick Orogbo, assured them of equal opportunities within the party structure.

“The party remains committed to internal democracy, transparency, and inclusiveness regardless of political background or previous affiliation,” he said.

The APC chairman in Echiaba Ward, Mr Amobi Nwofoke, commended Gov. Francis Nwifuru for his sterling performances in office over the past two years.

“The governor’s outstanding developmental strides have significantly diminished opposition in the state, gradually transforming it into a unified political entity,” he said.

Nwazunku in his remarks, said his spirit had long departed the PDP due to its diminishing internal cohesion and relevance.

“My decision to join the APC was inspired by the remarkable accomplishments of President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Francis Nwifuru.

“I will mobilise my supporters across the state to ensure the resounding success of APC particularly in the forthcoming 2027 general elections,” he said.

The event attracted key stakeholders from within and outside the ward. The ranks of the opposition in the State has continued to deplete with several figures defecting to the APC.

Two years after: Labour tears Tinubu’s scorecard into shreds, APC kicks

President Bola Tinubu’s administration, midterm , organised labour has delivered a scathing critique of his economic policies, accusing the government of worsening poverty and hardship across Nigeria.

In a statement marking the midterm, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) President, Joe Ajaero, said Tinubu’s reforms—particularly the removal of fuel subsidy and exchange rate unification—have pushed over 150 million Nigerians into multidimensional poverty. He dismissed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” as recycled neoliberal failures, claiming they enriched a few while deepening the suffering of the majority.

“Fuel prices have tripled, inflation is out of control, and wages have been eroded,” Ajaero said. “This is not reform—it’s punishment.”

Tinubu, in a national broadcast, defended his policies, noting that external reserves rose from $4bn in 2023 to $23bn in 2024. He assured Nigerians that the economic pain was temporary and necessary for long-term stability.

The NLC and TUC, however, insist the reforms lack visible benefits. They criticized the government’s palliatives as inadequate and highlighted worsening insecurity, joblessness, and poor infrastructure.

Labour leaders from several states—including Lagos, Benue, Kaduna, and Bayelsa—echoed similar sentiments, rejecting the President’s claim that “the worst days are over.”

In response, the All Progressives Congress (APC) accused the NLC of politicizing national issues. APC National Vice Chairman (South-East), Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu, described the labour critique as “sponsored and shallow,” adding that Tinubu has shown transparency and courage in implementing difficult but necessary reforms.

Despite deepening criticism, the Presidency maintains that its policies will pay off in the long run.

2nd anniversary: Delta more united in APC – Gov Oborevwori

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has said stakeholders in the State are more united under the All Progressives Congress (APC) now than before.

Governor Oborevwori stated this at a Thanksgiving and Praise Day held to mark his administration’s second anniversary in Asaba on Thursday.

He said that giving thanks was an application for God to do more for the people, adding that only the living could give thanks to God.

The governor said though Delta is complex but everyone would be carried along in the scheme of  things and nobody would be left behind.

He noted that it has been  two years of consolidating on the achievements, adding that as a state, it has been a custom to give thanks to God every year.

While acknowledging the presence of  the APC stalwarts; Elder Omeni Sobotie, State APC Chairman, the three senators and all the members of House of representatives and the House of Assembly, Oborevwori thanked God for the unity.

According to him,  nobody will be neglected,  it is only with unity that we can move forward.

“The only way we can benefit is to become united. I believe we are more united in APC today more than 10 years ago.

“I am happy that my three senators are here, and Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation, the Speaker, Emomotimi Guwor, and members of the House of Assembly, Members of the House of Representatives, Traditional Rulers and other stakeholders,” he said.

He  urged the people to continue to pray for the government to deliver on more projects and the development of the state.

Odutemu said the state has experienced growth and development in the past two years under the Gov. Oborevwori led administration.

He said that God has been faithful since 1999 by keeping many alive to witness today and thanked Oborevwori for sustaining the projects initiated  by his predecessor , Ifeanyi Okowa.

  • INTERVIEW: APC not scared of anybody as a ruling party -Sen.Orji Kalu

INTERVIEW: APC not scared of anybody as a ruling party -Sen.Orji Kalu

… opposition has a right to criticize massive endorsements of our president

    … it’s their job

    … Nigerians love telling lies

Former Governor of Abia State and a serving Senator, Orji Uzor Kalu in a chat with selected journalists bared it all on recent endorsements across the country of President Bola Tinubu as he clocks midterm of his first tenure, he also spoke on other national issues, excerpts.

An endorsement of Mr. President by your party, by almost everybody. In your thinking, don’t you think it’s fear of the coalition that is coming up is why these endorsements are coming up?

Answer: No, no, no. I don’t think that a party like APC have anybody to fear.
We are a ruling party. We are passionate about Nigeria. We love Nigeria. And that is why most of us are building industries all over Nigeria, so Nigerian people can have jobs, even not government. So, there’s nothing like fear. The opposition are there.

If the opposition don’t criticize us for the endorsements, who would they criticize? It’s their job to criticize, but it’s our job to do our job. And we are doing our job perfectly very well. And I hope that Nigerian people in the next few years will appreciate what Mr. President is doing.

Regarding Mr. President’s visit to the Vatican during the inauguration of the Pope, some persons are saying Mr. President, being a Muslim, should have asked a Christian government official to go on that visit. What’s your opinion on that? That’s one leg of my question. The second leg, following endorsements, the wave of endorsements here and there, the APC has endorsed. Are we looking at the Southeast Senators following suit?

Well, is there anything else to endorse? Can you see what I’m wearing? If you look at the dress I’m wearing, you will know what it is. This is the endorsement for President. My dress is perfectly tailored to that and the Southeast caucus is fully in support. We have endorsed him about three or four weeks ago, even before any other person in any group. And I was there, chaired by the Governor Hope, co-chaired by the Governor of Ebonyi and Deputy Speaker. We were the first that moved for national endorsement.

We are going to be fair, absolutely to all Nigerians. And being fair to all Nigerians means we recognize the rule of opposition. If opposition don’t do what they are doing, I will not respect them. They must fight. That is why they are opposition. Should they go and sleep? The answer is no. They should be vibrant in fighting.

So, Mr. President couldn’t have sent any Christian person. Mr. President is a personal friend of the Pope. They met in Chicago, if some of you don’t know. And Pope personally invited him. And that is why he went.

And it would be out of place if President disobeyed the Pope. About 1.8 billion Catholics, including me. How can he disobey our Pope? It’s not possible. So, President obeyed the Pope. And the Catholics will respect and will also appreciate him for that obedience he gave to the Pope in 2027.

Your Excellency, from your experience as an administrator, tell Nigerians what convinces you that the election of the President will be better for Nigeria?

Let me be honest with you. I’m a businessman, I’m not a politician. There are only a few things that are not happening. The indices of Mr. President’s policy might not be walking down the line. People are still suffering. Yes, I agree to that. But it started trickling in on the micro level.

That is, on the upper level, not on the lower level. So, I’m hoping that in the next 2-3 years, the policies of Mr. President will trickle down. And Nigerians will appreciate what Mr. President is doing.

Since 1960, I’m not a psychopath. This is first President, you know, I have facts this is first President that stopped subsidy. This is first President that merged the dollar, That is why we are suffering.
Because Nigerians are not used to working hard. We are used to getting cheap money. People sleep in their houses and use telephone and get dollar and sell it at very high rate.
People sit in their houses and use their tank farms and collect paper and they make money. This is one President who has said, if you are ready to make money, make it the right way. If you are not ready to make money, you leave it.

So, I don’t think, moreover, they have to vote for him because, you see, President Tinubu is not going to be a President voted by the South alone. He will be a President that will be voted by North and South. And it’s also for the interest of everybody, both the North and the South, for Tinubu to come back.
We don’t want this country to break. We don’t want the country to break. We want the country to continue being our country.

I love the country. I’m a product of this country and I’m very proud that I’m a Nigerian. Many people are not proud.

You can see people cursing Nigeria abroad, talking about Nigeria abroad, saying bad things about their own country. It is not good, whether you are in opposition or you are in ruling party, it’s not good to curse your President or curse the country.

Tinubu is not the owner of this country. Is he the owner? To you journalists, is Tinubu the owner? No. We are the owners of the country. The highest he will stay is 8 years.
After 8 years, we take back our country. Buhari is in Daura now true or false? Is he not in Daura? So, one day, Tinubu will go back to Lagos in 2031. He will go back there.

If you want to see him you go to Lagos. But mostly, what Nigerians should pray is for President to be in good health and have a long life to finish his tenure.

Since you came to the Senate, you’ve consistently won the best Senator award.
Now, in 2027, what should your people, Abia North expect from you?

Well, it’s only you people know why you are giving me the award. Is the award not given by you people? Am I the one giving it myself? So, we are working.

In 2027, we will be shifting our program. And once everything will not be roads and schools again, we will move totally to agriculture. We would like to see an agricultural policy, totally.

When I was governor, every Abian, whether you are a civil servant or not all of them were in the farm. So, what I’m doing in Abia North you are giving me the award, was what I did as governor.

It’s just Nigerians are hypocrites. They don’t tell the truth. They lie. If you’re opposition, speak the truth. If you’re in the ruling party, speak the truth. People are afraid of saying the truth and I’m not afraid of saying the truth.

So, for me, to work is part of my passion.
You know, you must like people, love people before you can work for people. That is it. So, to me, if you go to our constituency, there are a lot of caterpillars there working and they are still working. Wherever they cannot work very well, my foundation augments. My foundation are putting a lot of money also in the constituency.

After the IDPR, in the northwest and northeast and everywhere, the next line of action the foundation is putting money is in schools and roads. We are doing a lot for them. So, for me, it’s a passion.

I don’t need money to be, I don’t even have bank account. So, for me, it’s to spend everything I have to lift people up. All leaders must be prepared to lift people up.

Thank you very much. I wanted to say, this attire is very fitting. Will it be made available for other interested Nigerians?

This attire? It’s already in the market, people are wearing it. I’m not just the first person wearing it. Because you people have a gold eye, that you can see what I’m wearing. I’m wearing something for the president, our president, your president.

We will deliver Anambra to APC – Ukachukwu

Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, the Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Anambra Governorship election to be held on Nov. 8, has vowed to deliver the state to the APC.

Ukachukwu made the pledge while addressing State House Correspondents, after the presentation of the APC flag to him and Sen. Uche Ekwunife, Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate, by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, on Monday.

Ukachukwu said the President charged him and his running mate to bring the state to the centre.

“He has given us a charge to go and bring Anambra to the centre, and that’s what we’re going to do. Anambra cannot continue to be a one-party system.

”The President was in Anambra recently and saw how ready and how charged the party people are in Anambra. He was happy about the turnout of the people that came out to receive him.”

Ukachukwu said he was confident that the APC would triumph in the gubernatorial election because he and his running mate were the ones that made APGA strong.

“I was a former senatorial candidate of APGA. I left APGA with all my supporters to join APC. The Labour Party, the YPP and other political parties have joined us in the journey.

“We have over 80 groups that are lining up to join us. This makes APC bigger.  It means nothing is left of APGA in the state.

“It’s not the first time an incumbent will be losing an election; it happened in Zamfara, in Imo and other places. Even in Anambra too, so it’s not new to us in Anambra,” he said.

  • New political pressure group emerges in Delta APC, backs Tinubu, Oborevwori for 2027

New political pressure group emerges in Delta APC, backs Tinubu, Oborevwori for 2027

The Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency (U3) Forum, has declared itself a political pressure group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), pledging unwavering support for the reelections of President Bola Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborewori and all APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The forum made the declaration when it played host to the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District Senator Ede Dafinone and the member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency, Hon. Francis Waive held at the home residence of its Chairman, Chief John Oguma, in Ovwor, Ughelli South, weekend.

While formally declaring its support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Senator Ede Dafinone, and Hon. Francis Waive, the Forum passed a unanimous vote of confidence on the four leaders. The motion was moved by Barr. Jaro Egbo, Chairman of Ughelli North LGA, and seconded by Hon. Adelabu Bojor, former APC Delta Central Senatorial Chairman.

Speaking during the meeting, Chairman of the Forum, Chief John Oguma said, “We must return Tinubu back to the Villa. That one is sealed. The same goes for our governor—the Omorotomor of Urhobo land. He is doing very well. He’s the only one in our history that the 24 Urhobo kings came together and gave a chieftaincy title. That shows unity and respect.”

Referring specifically to Senator Dafinone, he added: “We played politics with his father in the NPN. When his father was a Senator, I was a youth leader. Today, the son continues that legacy. His father did two tenures, and so should he.”

Oguma was also full of praise for Hon. Waive: “For a long time, we sent people to the National Assembly and saw no impact. But today, we have a representative who brought a Federal Medical Centre to Udu, facilitated a Federal School of Nursing, and a world-class Computer School. This is the kind of politics I believe in—human capital development before anything else.”

He emphasized the collective nature of the Forum’s decision: “When I made that statement, no one challenged me. Instead, the support was overwhelming. We don’t play the politics of ‘I’—it’s always ‘we’.

“Let us respect one another. If it’s not your turn today, it could be yours tomorrow. We have one governor, one president. We must remain loyal and follow their leadership. Fighting them is like fighting God, who put them there.”

Speaking at the event, Senator Ede Dafinone, echoed the spirit of unity now prevailing in Delta politics. “There is no more opposition in Delta. We are now one party, with one purpose. There are no victors and no vanquished—we are all winners,” he said.

He commended Governor Oborevwori’s role in bridging party divides. “Bringing the PDP bloc into the APC was visionary and unifying. Today, federal appointments go through the governor’s office. There is restored discipline and structure.”

On the national economy, Dafinone said: “The past two years have been tough, but under President Tinubu, the economy is beginning to recover. The tough decisions taken are starting to yield fruit.”

Hon. Francis Waive expressed deep appreciation for the Forum’s endorsement. “When your people come around, pass a vote of confidence, and say you have the ticket going forward, man, I’m overwhelmed,” he said.

He cited the establishment of the Federal Medical Centre in Oleri, signed into law by President Tinubu, as a key legislative milestone. “We are seeing unity like never before. Governor Oborevwori has brought together political forces, and that’s what leadership looks like.”

  • APC born out of bitterness, lacks political depth — Sule Lamido

APC born out of bitterness, lacks political depth — Sule Lamido

Former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a political formation rooted in resentment, bitterness, and personal ambition, rather than ideology or national purpose.

In chapter 16, page 421 of his recently launched autobiography, “Being True To Myself”, unveiled on May 13, Lamido criticized the APC’s origins and questioned its credibility as a political party.

A founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lamido recounted his shock upon learning that some of his fellow PDP members had defected to the APC in the lead-up to the 2015 general elections—a move he firmly rejected.

“I once explained to the public that APC was born out of anger, hatred, and revenge. It has never operated as a serious political platform. Its founding members were opportunists, treating politics as a business venture rather than a tool for national service,” he wrote.

Tracing the political history, Lamido noted that in 1999, Nigeria had three key national parties: the PDP, the Alliance for Democracy (AD), and the All Peoples Party (APP). The AD and APP joined forces to support Olu Falae against the PDP’s Olusegun Obasanjo, who eventually won. That coalition later collapsed into the ANPP, which also failed to win power. It was from these defeated elements, he claimed, that the APC was born.

“The APC distorted history, manufactured a false narrative around a so-called ‘Mr. Integrity,’ and misled Nigerians with an inflated image. Before Buhari was introduced as the face of integrity, Nigeria already had reputable leaders with proven honesty and legacies—people like Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu Bello, Aminu Kano, Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe, and General Murtala Mohammed,” Lamido said.

He also accused Buhari of embracing the integrity label without acknowledging the historical leaders who truly embodied it. “During his rallies in Kano, not once did Buhari recognize the legacy of Mallam Aminu Kano or General Murtala, despite their significance,” Lamido added.

He further revealed that despite repeated invitations from APC leaders to join their camp during internal PDP crises, he refused. Lamido said he believed the responsible course was to stay within the PDP and help rebuild it rather than defect for convenience.

“The honourable path was not to jump ship, but to stay and be part of the solution,” he concluded.

  • Ganduje warns APC members against internal sabotage

Ganduje warns APC members against internal sabotage

Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Thursday urged party members to resist internal sabotage and remain focused on national progress.

He made the call at the APC National Summit, held at the Presidential Villa’s Banquet Hall, with the theme ‘The Journey So Far.’

The summit aimed to reflect on the party’s progress and explore solutions to Nigeria’s pressing challenges.

“I urge all members to reject internal sabotage. Engage communities, listen to citizens, and build a political structure that lasts beyond elections,” Ganduje said.

He called for renewed dedication to the principles that united the party and inspired its formation.

“Let us rally behind President Bola Tinubu, support our policies, and deliver the Renewed Hope Nigerians rightfully deserve,” he added.

Ganduje described the APC as a movement of courage and conviction, representing over 200 million Nigerians.

He emphasised that under his leadership, the APC had been reformed, energised, and steadily expanding.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda is already fulfilling its promises,” he stated.

According to Ganduje, Nigeria’s future depends on a strong, stable, and progressive APC.

He urged members to move forward together — not merely as politicians, but as patriots and national stewards.

“Remain focused and ready for the journey ahead. Our vision needs political strength and unity,” he said.

He encouraged steadfastness, unity of purpose, and firm belief in the party’s shared vision.

Ganduje expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for achievements recorded under the Renewed Hope Agenda in the last two years.

He confirmed the APC’s endorsement of President Tinubu as its sole presidential candidate.

Ganduje reiterated that the APC was a people-driven movement grounded in bold ideals and national aspirations.

He said, “Our party’s strength lies in unity. Nigeria needs every one of you.

“Let us remain committed to our purpose, unwavering in our resolve, and clear in our vision.”

Ganduje said the summit was not only for dialogue, but also for introspection on the party’s journey and national responsibilities.

He described the Renewed Hope Agenda as a necessary and transformative plan proposed by the President.

“This is no mere slogan — it’s a comprehensive strategy to restore governance, economic vitality, and national pride.

“When President Tinubu spoke of Renewed Hope, he offered a serious contract with Nigerians.

“It’s a vision for inclusive growth, institutional reform, and economic rejuvenation.

“Nearly two years on, this vision is becoming a lived reality,” Ganduje said.

He urged APC members to become committed defenders and active promoters of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

As progressives, Ganduje said, they must embrace courage, sacrifice, and sustained commitment to long-term change.

He noted signs of economic recovery, improved oil revenues, and growing interest from international investors.
