    I have right to support any candidate of my choice – Apostle Suleman

     

    Omega Fire Ministry founder, Apostle Johnson Suleman has hit out at those criticising him for supporting a candidate in the 2023 general elections in the country.

    According to Suleiman, there is nothing wrong in a prophet supporting a candidate of his choice.

    Suleman has openly thrown his weight behind the Lagos State Labour Party, LP, gubernatorial candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, made the statement in a post via his verified Twitter handle on Friday.

    The cleric disclosed that his family members in Lagos were asking for his opinion about whom they should vote for in the state guber election.

    “There is something I don’t get..when things are bad in the nation, they call out pastors for being quiet.

    When pastors speak, they say why are they being factional.
    I want to ask an honest question, as a pastor can’t I have a preferred candidate for me and my family?

    “I am asking because my family members in Lagos are asking me who they should vote for, if I say they should all vote @GRVlagos, people will say I have started again, that as a pastor I should support everyone.
    So I won’t say anything,” he twitted.

    Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries has declared his support for Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi ahead of Saturday’s election.

    Suleman spoke while delivering a sermon on Sunday in his church in Auchi, Edo State.

    He disclosed that all members of his family and associate pastors are Obidients.

    According to Suleman: “Don’t plan your political life around someone who is ungrateful; he will retire you.

    “In Omega Fire Ministries, God has blessed us; no matter the economy of the forest, a lion cannot eat grass; use this anger to vote against this wickedness.

    “My wife, myself, and children we’re fully Obidients; we’re not those who make noise on social media, we work in the background, and we are fully in support, if you like vote insecurity, tribalism, bigotry or ethnicity.”

    Obi is one of the leading presidential contenders for Saturday’s election.

    Nigerians have been vigorously campaigning for Obi with the aim of him succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari

    Apostle Johnson Suleiman of the Omega Fire Ministry has issued out warnings to the general public concerning the forthcoming general elections in the country, saying it will be a deciding factor.

    Suleman warns that nobody should allow unrealistic figure ruin the election in the country.

    The cleric also lamented that the country has never had it so bad as it is currently witnessing over the last few weeks.

    His statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday.

    He called on Nigerians to go to the polling unit on the day of the election to cast votes and ensure their votes are counted.

    He wrote, “This coming election will be a deciding factor for generations unborn..we have never had it so terrible especially this past few weeks. Go to your polling unit and vote..wait for it to be counted, and get it all captured and recorded..let’s see how they can lie to us with figures.”

    Celebrity biker, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, famously  known as Charly Boy or Area Fada, has revealed a scary dream he had to  the general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Suleman.

    Recall that Suleman has been making headlines over his alleged sexcapades with Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar and other celebrities.

    TheNewsGuru.com reports that the actress came up with revelations of how Apostle Suleman slept with her even when she was bleeding and how she had three abortions for him.

    Reacting to this, Charly Boy, on Tuesday, in a tweet on his Twitter handle, stated that it was no longer news that many pastors in Nigeria engaged in fraudulent activities.

    Warning Apostle Suleman to be careful, he narrated that he dreamt about him being attacked by women, and his manhood was cut off.

    ”Not that I always like to yab pastors’, but I know many Nigerian pastors are either just scumbags or fraudulent. That’s putting it mildly, but this one takes the cake. Suleman, you better be careful, I dreamt last night that some women attacked and cut off your manhood,” he claimed.

    Speaking further, Charly Boy advised the Apostle about a new business idea, claiming ”since all you know is balling women, why don’t you open a brothel. Another business idea though.”

    A close friend of actress Halima Abubakar, Benita, has disclosed that the actress once tattooed Apostle Johnson Suleman’s name on her body.

    Speaking in an interview with social media blogger, Temiola Sobola, Benita disclosed that he knew they two were in a romantic relationship.

    After the third pregnancy, she started bleeding every day. I used to follow her to her shows and events. We were always moving around with extra tampons to prevent her from getting stained

    She also confirmed the claims of Halima that her friend aborted three pregnancies while in a relationship with Apostle Suleman.

    In her words: “Halima and I are best friends and I knew when she and Apostle Suleman were dating. We never knew he was a pastor, we thought he was into oil and gas. Halima aborted 3 pregnancies for him.

    Apostle Johnson Suleman of the Omega Fire Ministry has responded to the demise of popular gospel artiste, Sammie Okposo.

    Recall that before Okposo’s demise, an American lady identified as African Doll, based in Texas had in January 2022, accused Okposo of impregnating and abandoning her.

    The accusation led to matrimonial issues between Okposo and his wife.

    Findings show that the singer didn’t recover from the scandal which may have affected his health prior to his death on Friday.

    Reacting to the unfortunate report of Sammie’s death, Apostle Suleman took to his Twitter handle to recall some previous conversations with the singer, saying they both wept over the phone about how some pastors treated the singer after the infidelity saga.

    Apostle Suleman stated that persons now posting pictures and mourning the singer didn’t reach out to me during his trying moments.

    He wrote, “Now they post his pictures. But never reached out in his trying times. He told me what pastors did to him and we both wept.

    “Love has left the church. We have more ‘lawyers’ who are ready to judge than intercessors ready to restore. Rest in power my brother.. You conquered”!

    I will not thank God Apostle Suleman survived assassination attempt – Catholic priest, Fr. Kelvin

    A Nigerian Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Kelvin Ugwu has said he will not thank God for Apostle Suleman, founder of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide after surviving assassination attempt.

    Recall that Suleman while reacting to alleged assassination attempt on his life on Friday evening, said “my life is in the hands of God, nobody can kill me.”

    His testimony was preceded by an attack on his motorcade on the Warake road in Auchi, Edo State, leading to the death of at least seven persons, including four police officers.

    Reacting, Fr Kelvin faulted Suleman’s testimony, saying it was wrong to “use other people’s misfortune to elevate your own story”.

    According to him, the life of the Apostle is not more valuable than that of the police officers and civilians who were murdered in the unfortunate attack.

    “I have always said it here, when giving testimonies, be sensitive. Don’t use other people’s misfortune to elevate your own story.

    “In their bid to assassinate you, seven persons were killed and you are like “my life is in the hands of God, nobody can kill me.”

    “Well, I will not thank God that you survived the assassination, I will rather thank God that you admitted to knowing those that were behind the assassination and shooting.

    “I call on the police and the government to take it up from there. The lives of those seven persons matter so much. The minister’s life is not more valuable than theirs. A full investigation should be opened immediately until those behind the shooting are arrested and given what they deserve by law.

    “And for those working closely with the minister, I will advice you take necessary precautions because it seems he knows something that is capable of putting you at risk, which you may not be aware of”, Fr Kelvin posted on his verified Facebook page.

    Apostle Suleman:CP orders withdrawal of DPO over controversial death of suspect

    The outgoing Commissioner of Police in Edo State, AIG Abutu Yaro, has ordered the withdrawal of Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Auchi Division, CSP Ayodele Suleiman over the controversial death of one of the suspects of the President, Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman.

    The suspect was reportedly arrested alive and handed over to the police after gunmen opened fire on the convoy of the cleric on Friday evening along the Benin–Auchi Road in Edo State.

    Seven persons were confirmed killed during the attack including police orderlies as well as Suleman’s aides while the cleric narrowly escaped.

    In a viral video, a voice said to be that of a policeman said, “One of the kidnappers that was caught today (Friday) while the DPO, CSP Ayodele Sulaiman, led the operation along Iyewe-Auchi Road, and after a gun battle, this one (suspect) was gunned down while others escaped with bullet wounds. Bush combing is ongoing.”

    However, the cleric said the attack was an assassination attempt and alleged that the gunmen weren’t kidnappers.

    “Lies…there weren’t kidnappers… He was caught and handed over and the police killed him immediately…Why killing him on the spot? Who is trying to cover up traces?” the preacher asked.

    In a statement on Saturday, the outgoing police commissioner in the state ordered the immediate withdrawal of the DPO for debriefing.

    “As part of the measures of the Command concerning the circumstances that led to the death of one of the surviving members of the monstrous gang that attacked the convoy of Apostle Johnson Suleiman, General overseer of Omega Fire Ministry, the outgoing CP now AIG Abutu Yaro fdc has ordered the withdrawal of CSP Ayodele Suleiman, DPO Auchi for debriefing at the State Headquarters with immediate effect,” said the statement signed by Edo police spokesman, Iwegbu Jennifer.

    “Meanwhile, members of the Public are urged to remain calm and patient as no stone would be left unturned to unearth the circumstances surrounding it.”

    Of late, gunmen in southern Nigeria have waylaid prominent persons, killing their aides in most cases while their main targets escape in bulletproof vehicles.

    Some of the victims of dastard attacks include the lawmaker representing Anambra South Senatorial district, Ifeanyi Ubah; now Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo; former presidential aide, Ahmed Gulak; Chike Akunyili, widower of the late Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, Dora Akunyili.

    While Ubah and Soludo escaped by a whisker, Gulak and Akunyili couldn’t as they were gruesomely murdered by bloodthirsty gunmen.

    Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has disclosed that the founder of Omega Fire Ministry Apostle Suleman said the attack on his convoy was an assassination attempt.

    Recall that some unidentified gunmen ambushed the cleric’s convoy on Warake road in Auchi, Edo State on Friday evening.

    Reacting, Shehu Sani in a tweet on his Twitter handle while condoling with families of the victims, said he has spoken with the Apostle, who confirmed the incident to him.

    The former lawmaker wrote, “We thank God for the life of Apostle Suleiman. My condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. The attack is condemnable.

    “I have just spoken with Apostle Suleiman. He confirmed to me that it was an assassination attempt on his life and that some of his aides lost their lives. He also confirmed there was an arrest”.

    The Nigerian cleric finally reacted to several sex allegations against him by the Nollywood actress.

    For months unending, the erstwhile famous actress accused the controversial cleric of reneging on his promise to marry her and said he was behind for an undisclosed life-threatening ailment that had plagued her for years.

    She alleged that Suleman had sexual affairs with several actresses, including Shan George and Iyabo Ojo, a claim the cleric and his handlers ignored.

    Halima, who began acting in 2001 when she played a minor role in ‘Rejected’, revealed that she had an affair with the preacher because he told her he was a divorcee with three children.

    On Instagram, she said that her life was in danger and that the cleric should be held responsible for whatever occurs her.

    “Pls don’t worry about me. But you can hold Johnson Suleman responsible, just in case.

    “You can’t do anything, though. Nigerians are aware. If anything happens, Johnson, it’s you’’, the 37-year-old actress wrote on Instagram.
