Funke Akindele-JJC Skillz: I tweet randomly, not to mock people – Apostle Suleman

The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman has denied mocking Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele and her husband, JJC Skillz for separating.

Shortly after the news of the separation surfaced online, Apostle Suleman had tweeted about “break up.”

“When they bought you shawarma, did you give us?”

Amid the backlash, the cleric explained that his earlier tweet was not directed at anybody.

He noted that it was a sin to mock people, stressing that his earlier tweet was a mere coincidence.

He tweeted: “Someone just called my attention to the ‘break up’ tweet. It has nothing to do with anyone pls.

Apostle Suleman finally reacts to Otobo’s allegation

General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Apostle Johnson Suleman has reacted to the latest threat by Canada-based singer Stephanie Otobo to release videos of their alleged intimate affairs.

TheNewsGuru.com gathered that Apostle Suleiman blamed his castigation of ASUU strike as the reason he’s trending all of a sudden.

Recall that Apostle Suleiman had tweeted end ASUU strike few days back via his verified page

Otobo renewed the battle against the preacher who she alleged had a sizzling romance with her for years.

She released nude pictures of their alleged intimate moments, threatening to provide videos to substantiate the claims.

Otobo made similar claims back in 2017 when the Canada based singer accused the preacher of having an affair and sexual harrassment on her person.

Otobo shared a screenshot of a man holding his manhood and claims the person was Apostle suleiman.

Another screenshot showed Otobo exposing her breasts while on an alleged video call with Suleman.

She wrote: “If the d*ck pic isn’t his, what is he gonna say about the scar on his left thigh? His wife can’t deny that scar. How did I know he has a scar on his left thigh if we didn’t have intimacy? Lol. If he’s denying it, he should open up his thigh let’s see. His nails too say it all.”

She alleged that the cleric tried to stop her from progressing, and almost ended her life.

However, Apostle Suleiman took to his twitter handle @APOSTLESULEMAN on Tuesday morning, Suleman said the fresh allegations were orchestrated because he spoke against the prolonged ASUU strike on Sunday.

He advised the ‘perpetrators’ use other strategies to get to him.

The cleric said: ” I tweeted ‘End ASUU strike’ yesterday Sunday and today Monday (yesterday) I am trending on twitter

Una well done. You guys should have done this at least a week later to avoid traces. END ASUU STRIKE!’”

  • Alleged sex with Apostle Suleman: My confession affected my mental health –Chioma Ifemeludike, actress

Alleged sex with Apostle Suleman: My confession affected my mental health –Chioma Ifemeludike, actress

Many were shocked when budding actress, Chioma Ifemeludike confessed that she allegedly had sex with the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman.

The outspoken actress said she was pimped to Suleman by her colleague, Lynda Clems, and was paid handsomely for it. But then, the memory of her ‘evil deed’ has continued to haunt her, she said.

In a chat with The Sun, the actress stated that ever since she made the confession, her mental health has been affected.

“Life has been great. Even though, in the first few days after the confession that went viral, the backlash kind of affected my mental health. But because I’m this kind of person who looks on to God and not man, I’ve always been very attached to God, so it wasn’t difficult for me to find my feet spiritually, mentally and physically. Yes, things were tough for some days but over time, I had to deal with the situation in my head. And as the days went by, I was motivated and became”

On the allegations that she is trying to extort money from Suleman, Ifemeludike said:” The people who know me know that money does not freak me. What freaks me is character. Money and power do not move me. I need money but money is not everything. There’s a way I see life and there are things I value more than money. Extort whom? How much is he going to give me? Do you know the guilt I carried all these years for something that I did? I knew that I did it out of desperation; I did it because I wasn’t acting right. So, fast-forward to today, I’m dealing with the guilt and I come out to spill it and people say I want to extort the person? I don’t know how it works but even if they bring one billion dollars, I can’t be moved. The truth is the truth. It’s a fact, it’s bigger than me, the universe has taken record and there is something bigger than the universe, something bigger than money and something that puts us here. We must always think beyond that. The day the world was created, the day everything you see was put together, money was not in the concept. Man conceptualized money and so, why would I want to do anything of that magnitude because of money? No, that’s totally wrong. I never did it to extort money from anybody; it’s just for my faith. So, children of God, I did it for my society and that’s what will matter for decades; for centuries, that’s what will count, not money”

  • Abuja police arrest Youtuber for criticizing Apostle Suleman’s ‘money miracle’

Abuja police arrest Youtuber for criticizing Apostle Suleman’s ‘money miracle’

The Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has detained a Youtuber, Israel Balogun, over allegations of criminal defamation and cyber stalking of the General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman.

The 38-year-old was questioned for about four hours and later detained after being given stringent bail conditions.

It was gathered that Balogun posted a video on his Youtube channel where he showed clips of Suleman declaring to his congregation that angels would deposit money into their bank accounts.

The visuals were from ministrations of the minister in Atlanta, United States, and Auchi, Edo State, where worshippers showed their phones to testify to receiving credit alerts in their bank accounts.

Balogun described the claims as false and condemned Suleiman.

His remarks were trailed by mixed reactions on social media.

While some applauded Balogun for his boldness, others said he was seeking relevance.

The businessman told Punch that he later got a threat call from one Obi-West.

“He said he is the eyes of Apostle Suleman on social media and said I should expect to hear from them. He said I will be missing and he will make sure I get punished by officers from the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters.

“He said killing me is nothing to them. I recorded the whole conversation and used it in recording another video where I called people to rescue me because my life was in danger,” he added.

Balogun noted that he received a letter from Suleman’s lawyer on Monday, August 2, 2021, demanding a public apology within seven days.

He said, “I was still consulting with my lawyer when somebody called to notify me that some guys from Abuja were in Lagos to pick me up to Abuja. My wife, daughter and I immediately abandoned our home and went into hiding.”

The Ogun State indigene noted that he later received an invitation from the Special Enquiry Bureau, FCIID, Abuja.

The invite, signed by one ACP Yahaya Abubakar, asked Balogun to report at the FCIID on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

Balogun’s lawyer, Inibehe Effiong on Wednesday said that the Youtuber had been detained.

He said, “The formal interrogation was for about four hours, including the time they used in taking his statements. Part of his bail conditions was to provide two sureties with landed property and certificate of ownership in Abuja, and a Level 14 civil servant with either a letter of last employment or letter of introduction.

“We have somebody with CofO, and presented a Level 13 civil servant, which they accepted. But they insisted that the person should bring a letter of introduction, whereas the person has a letter of last promotion. Even though we said we will bring the originals tomorrow, they rejected it and put Balogun in the cell.

“The conditions are difficult and unnecessary given the nature of the offence. There is no reason why the police should get involved as he (Suleman) should have gone to court to file legal action if he felt he had been defamed.”

A spokesman for the FCIID, Abuja, Funmi Eguaoje, said the bail conditions were normal.

She said, “If you bring a surety that is a civil servant, there should be verification from the office of the civil servant. There should be a letter of introduction from his boss to show that he is a staff member. They should bring it tomorrow (Thursday) and they will release him.”

Suleman’s counsel, Samuel Amune, said he only wrote Balogun to recant his statements and apologize for using derogatory remarks.

TheNewsGuru recalls that Suleman, in a recent video, had said he observed that Youtubers usually abused him to gain traffic to their page and make money.

He said he had decided to also get paid for the criticism.

The minister said, “Now, when anybody wants to open a Youtube channel or have a blog, one of the strategies to make people get attracted to get lots of views and comments is to attack pastors and I am one of the major subject matters.

“I don’t have a problem with that because a million abuses cannot do nothing; but what I have a problem with is that at the end of the month, Youtube is paying you for insulting me.

“So, we need to have an agreement, go ahead and insult me but pay me. If you want to insult me, pay me and then do the videos, abuse me; you have my permission because one million videos cannot bring a true man of God down.”

Trending: Saying COVID-19 shouldn’t end was a slip of tongue

The General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has made clarifications on his statement that COVID-19 should not end.

The clergyman had made the statement as seen in a viral video, adding that he bought his third private jet during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said, “In COVID (pandemic) I bought a jet; the third one. I have three. I was praying for COVID-19 not to end because I was resting. While people were complaining, my wife asked, ‘Can life be this sweet?’ Am I talking to somebody here?

The statement attracted criticisms from Nigerians who expressed their displeasure on social media platforms.

Addressing the backlash that trailed the statement, the clergyman, while delivering a sermon to a congregation, said the video was edited by a fellow pastor who posted it against him.

“There’s a video that is trending about me. It was posted by a pastor against me. It was a programme I had in Abuja and I was trying to explain something about COVID-19. When they told me that I prayed for COVID-19 not to end, I said ‘me? I didn’t say that.’

“When they brought the video, I discovered it slipped out of my mouth. There’s no pastor that will pray for Covid not to end. It doesn’t make sense.

“I was talking about what happens around Covid, how families were staying together, how families united, how some people even made money during that process. That was what I was trying to buttress and it slipped out of my mouth. I could not have prayed for Covid not to end, no pastor would do that. But he (the pastor) took that mistake, edited some part and blew it,” he said.

Why I was praying for COVID-19 not to end – Apostle Suleman

Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries has said he once prayed that the COVID-19 pandemic doesn’t come to an end.

The clergyman was captured in a viral clip preaching during one of his Sunday services that surfaced on social media.

The 49-year-old said he bought another Jet to add to his previous two while others were praying for Covid-19 pandemic to end due to the hardship that came with it.

He said; “In COVID, I bought a jet. The third one. I have three. I was praying for COVID not to end because I was resting. While people were complaining, my wife asked, ‘Can life be this sweet?’. Am I talking to somebody here?” he asked.

“No stress. I read on the Internet that there’s a rumour going around that I have a machine that prints money. I like that rumour. They say, ‘he should be investigated. He has a machine that prints money.’

“Somebody asked if it’s true and I said it is true. They said, ‘It’s risky o’. I said I didn’t know it’s risky because I already bought the machine. When you speak in tongues, you’re printing money.”

Suleman has been enmeshed in an adultery scandal in recent times with one of his former pastors, Mike Davids, accusing him of sleeping with his wife, an allegation which Suleman has denied.

Davids also wrote a petition to the Corporate Affairs Commission to investigate and suspend Suleman for his stupendous wealth.

A video has surfaced online where Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry (OFM), boasted about purchasing his third private jet during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.

On Wednesday, the short engaging video of the pastor preaching during one of his Sunday services surfaced on social media.

In the video clip, Suleman could be heard saying that he already had two jets but purchased a third one while people were busy “complaining” about the pandemic.

Suleman also added that he was praying the pandemic doesn’t come to an end because he was “resting”.

“In COVID, I bought a jet. The third one. I have three. I was praying for COVID not to end because I was resting. While people were complaining, my wife asked, ‘Can life be this sweet?’. Am I talking to somebody here?” he asked.

In recent weeks, Suleman has also been in the news after Mike Davids, a former cleric at his church, alleged that he slept with Faith Edeko, his wife.
